Praying for Israel

'“Proclaim further: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘My towns will again overflow with prosperity, and the Lord will again comfort Zion and choose Jerusalem.’ ” '

Father God, we (I) pray for Israel.

Father God!

Heavenly Father, the 15-member judges of the Israeli High Court have decided to deliberate on eight petitions for the rationality standard reform law (judicial reform bill) passed by the National Assembly on September 12th. Israel's judiciary and government leaders feared God and obeyed God's word, "' Then I said, “Listen, you leaders of Jacob, you rulers of Israel. Should you not embrace justice, ' (Micah 3:1) 'This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go. If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea. ' (Isaiah 48:17-18) Let them humble themselves in front of the word of Jehovah God according to this word, and let me be a person who only acts righteously and speaks honestly by obeying your commands. May the leaders and people become humble before God, hoping for the Lord God who rules and rules over Israel before God re-establishes and protects them. In this time of confusion, let us cry out to God, repent, realize, bow down in humility, and look to God, who works together for good.

Heavenly Father, please stop the progress of Iran's nuclear development and control the evil schemes that want to attack Israel, build weapons depots in Syria, help Hezbollah, Hamas, and Jihad, and prepare for war. 'Though the Lord is exalted, he looks kindly on the lowly; though lofty, he sees them from afar. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life. You stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes; with your right hand you save me. '(Psalms 138:6-7) Thank you for strengthening Israel's air force in preparation for Iran's evil ruse to develop a nuclear weapon to attack Israel and wipe it off the face of the earth. God will bring Israel back to life as promised and save them from their enemies. I think that you are building and protecting Israel in these last days.

#God Father, please protect the borders of Israel and make the Israeli soldiers strong and bold warriors of God. On the 6th, Israeli security forces said they shot and killed three Palestinian Islamic Jihad militants in a vehicle in the West Bank. Israeli security forces said they were operating "to avert an immediate threat, and Israeli forces found an M-16 rifle in the vehicle." In response, Islamic Jihad (PIJ) warned of retaliation with a strong response from the insurgents, and the next day, on the 7th, an armed Palestinian terrorist shot and killed an Israeli security guard in Tel Aib.

Heavenly Father, we pray for the security and peace of Israel. Concerning the ongoing Palestinian terrorism, the struggles of Israeli soldiers to prevent terrorism and search for terrorists are taking lives. Please comfort the families of the Israeli security guards who were shot and killed. Only the Arabs need to know the Word of God that the Word of God is fulfilled and the hostility of Palestine against the Jews returning to this land is resolved. The Word of God is being fulfilled in this age, and the gospel of Yeshua's life and love must be proclaimed to Jews and Arabs living throughout the land of Israel and planted in their hearts.

# Because they do not understand the Word of God, they attack each other, retaliate, and commit terror. ‘“You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. '(Matthew 5:38-39) ' “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you' (Matthew 5:43-44). We pray that it will be proclaimed and worked upon by the Jews and Arabs living in this land of Israel and all the world's peoples. We pray that the kingdom of God of Yeshua, the Prince of Peace, will come upon this earth.

Father God!

Conflicts and battles exist between the Ethiopian army and the FANO militia in several cities and towns, including Edio Amhara, Gondra, Debra Tabor, and La Ribera. Under the state of emergency, Israel Aliyah and Integration Minister Ofir Sofer said he was proceeding with the immigration of Jewish communities awaiting immigration to Israel. Last week ReskMission (PassportCard insurance company and Magnus International Search & Rescue) conducted a rescue operation with the Israeli Consulate in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He said he would rescue 13 Israelis and seven foreigners from Dabarak to the Shire city in the Tigray region and continue the flight to Addis Ababa with the crew. Last month in Ethiopia, an Israeli in his 70s was released from abduction and returned to Israel from Ethiopia.

Heavenly Father, as the civil war continues in Ethiopia, the people suffer. Please protect the Christians in that land, increase the spread of the gospel in that land, increase the number of those who are saved in difficulties, and make them overcomers by hoping for the kingdom of God, the kingdom of eternal peace. Also, please protect the Jewish community in Ethiopia who have applied for and are waiting for Aliyah, and help their Aliyah to come true quickly. May the Jews in the nations realize that God is working to establish Jerusalem and make it known as the Promised Land so that they come back quickly. 'This is what the Sovereign Lord says: “See, I will beckon to the nations, I will lift up my banner to the peoples; they will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their hips. ' (Isaiah 49:22) As these words, we thank CWMI for helping the Aliyah ministry, praying for the Israelites scattered across the nations to return to the promised land, and helping with material resources.

“Heavenly Father, we thank you for calling all of us, Gentiles, as intercessors and servants of God’s great and precious work. We pray with the mission of a watchman on the perfect wall. Give us peace in Jerusalem, Lord God, establish Jerusalem and be praised. Praying for the Nations

'He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire. He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” '

Father God!

Syrian church leaders recently met with Italian Interior Minister Alfredo Mantovano to say that Western economic sanctions are crippling the Christian community. Syria's Christian community has shrunk from 2 million to 300,000 to 500,000 today after years of civil war. Archbishop Jacques Murad of Homs, Syria, said the Italian embargo had a particularly adverse effect on Christians rather than the Syrian government, as economic sanctions made humanitarian aid from Italy nearly impossible. “The closure or nationalization of many schools has hurt the country’s Catholic education system, affecting learning, interreligious dialogue, and preventing radicalization,” said Bishop Rami al-Kavalan of Arethusa. “Ordinary people are struggling to obtain necessities such as electricity, food, and medicine,” said Archbishop Anthony Chapda of Aleppo. In response, Deputy Minister Mantovano said, “We will seek changes to the Italian government and sanctions system and raise concerns with our allies.”

Heavenly Father, we pray for Syria. Due to the civil war that started in March 2011, participation in protests, organizing militias, and clashes with government forces have resulted in the worst civil wars worldwide. Russia's intervention in 2015 maintains the current Assad regime. However, over the past ten years, 387,000 civilian deaths and 12 million refugees have been displaced, and more than 60% of Syrian children are starving. According to United Nations statistics, more than 2 million Syrians live in extreme poverty, and 70% of Syrian health workers have fled Syria. Have mercy on the churches and the children of faith in Syria. Please work so that the Syrian government can listen to the prayers of church leaders and take special care of and educate children in difficult situations.

# Heavenly Father, as the Kurds, who defeated IS with US forces in northern Syria, expand their forces, Turkey is concerned about an alliance with the Kurds in its own country and is wary of attacking the Kurds in Syria. Amid this, Russia, Turkey, and Iran compete for influence in Syria. Looking at this situation, remember Ezekiel's prophecy and pray. 'The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshek and Tubal; prophesy against him and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshek and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you. “ ‘Get ready; be prepared, you and all the hordes gathered about you, and take command of them. After many days you will be called to arms. In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. They had been brought out from the nations, and now all of them live in safety. You and all your troops and the many nations with you will go up, advancing like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land. ' '(Ezekiel 38:1-9) We pray that we will realize that when these words are fulfilled is near and that God's people, who need to be saved and prepared in Israel and the Middle East, will quickly come before Yeshua, the Messiah, the Lord of salvation. May the Holy Spirit work on Israel and neighboring Arab countries, including Syria, and find, and protect Your children.

According to Ukrainian reports, on Monday the 7th, the Israeli ship AMS 1, which sailed from Ashdod, Israel, broke an agreement with Russia in mid-July that allowed Ukraine to export grain from the port. Afterward, it said it ignored the threat of Russia's blockade of the Black Sea. It was provided security by an American P8 Poseidon, crossing the Black Sea directly and docking at the Danube River in Ukraine. Ukraine and Russia are the world's largest grain exporters, and world wheat and maize prices have risen sharply since Russia ended trade and started attacking Ukrainian food export ports on the Black Sea and the Danube. Heavenly Father, the world's food supply is in crisis due to the current war between Russia and Ukraine, which has blocked grain export trade. At this time, thanks to the intervention of the United Nations and Turkey, an Israeli ship entered the Davnu River in Ukraine. At the same time, Russia proposed to extend the contract with a daily limit of 4 ships going to and 4 leaving Ukraine. Please keep the grain trade in the Black Sea, which Russia withdrew two weeks ago, and allow grain transport ships to enter ports safely and handle export transactions so that the food crisis in the world can be resolved. 'Arise, Lord ! Lift up your hand, O God. Do not forget the helpless. Why does the wicked man revile God? Why does he say to himself, “He won’t call me to account”? But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted; you consider their grief and take it in hand. The victims commit themselves to you; you are the helper of the fatherless. ' (Psalms 10:12-14) Praise the God of love who speaks, has mercy on widows and orphans, and helps the poor and weak. Please have mercy on the children suffering from hunger in this land and protect the Israeli ships that lead this work. Please open the good works of sharing food to the poor and weak and work so that peace can be established between Russia and Ukraine.

Father God!

Due to climate change around the world, many businesses suffer from floods and heat waves. In August, there were many casualties and nearly 2 million flood victims in Beijing, Hubei Province, and other regions of China, and floods in various Asian areas such as India and the Philippines, as well as in some parts of the United States, resulting in many lives and property damage and numerous flood victims. have arisen. Korea also has news of a typhoon this week, and parts of the United States and several pieces of Europe are suffering heat waves. May the Lord have pity, comfort, and mercy on those grieving the loss of their families and those in trouble after losing all their possessions. When the Lord was in the world, His disciples asked, "What will be the sign of Your coming and the end of the age?" (Matthew 24:3), He said, "Nation will rise against nation, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of calamities” (Matthew 24:7,8). As we look at these signs, especially the earthquakes, floods, and heat waves around the world this summer, we realize that the coming of the Lord is near and that it is a disaster announcing the end of the world. Seeing these signs, let all the souls of this land come to know God and come to God. May those who realize the love of God who loves the world and sent His only begotten Son, Yeshua, come to the cross of Yeshua, the owner of life, and receive eternal life.

Praying for the United States

'The wicked have set a snare for me, but I have not strayed from your precepts. Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart. My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end.

Twelve mission team members of Harmony Students, a youth ministry at Harmony Hill Baptist Church in Lufkin, Texas, were scheduled to return home on July 30th after completing missions in Niamey, the capital of Niger. However, on July 26th, a coup against President Bazoum started, and the airport was closed, so they were confined there. Harmony Students posted a statement on Facebook: "Thank you to everyone who prayed for our student team serving in Niger, West Africa. Church spokesperson Charles Roberds said, "Thanks to the US State Department and the US Embassy in Niamey, we are grateful that the missionary team can move to Rome, Italy, and may the Lord hear the prayers of the faithful. We are grateful for the collective commitment and support of the church community.” On July 26, the democratically elected president of Niger, Mohammed Basum, was under house arrest following a coup. The U.S. State Department ordered non-emergency U.S. officials and their families to leave the Niamey embassy on August 2, 2023, and the U.S. Embassy in Niger temporarily provides emergency assistance only to U.S. citizens in Niger.

Heavenly Father, we pray and bless the 12 youths who went on a short-term mission to Niger, West Africa. Niger is 99% Muslim and 0.3% Christian, where the president and several government representatives were arrested in a coup on July 26th. Thank you for protecting the 12 youths of Harmony Hill Baptist Church in Lufkin, Texas, who have dedicated themselves with the gospel to this spiritual wasteland, and for allowing them to return home safely. May the youth devote themselves to the Lord, serve the church in Niger, and grow into the next generation of Lord's workers who continue to love and commit themselves to the Lord.

# Protect the churches of God amid the crisis caused by the ongoing coup in Niger. “Truly, you are the source of life; we will see the light in your light. Continue to show your kindness to those who know you and your justice to the upright in heart.” According to these words, let the light of your life shine on your people, and let the American churches, young people, and youth become the light that shines toward the nations with your light.

We pray for the churches and believers in America. May the church and its members correctly understand and obey God's Word, and repent and renew the homosexual and transgender culture prevalent in the United States. 'And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.' (Romans 13:11-14) Please help us to discern the time according to these words and to become the American church, believers, and young people of the next generation who are saved and live as true children of light. Let the servants of the Lord, whom you have established in the churches, convey the words of the Book of Revelation sent to the churches through Apostle John, saying, “Let the angel of the church write.” Please let the Holy Spirit work so that we can be awake servants who distribute food according to the season and rightly proclaim and teach God's word.

# We especially pray for the US elections next year. May the believers, families, and churches repent for America and raise leaders who fear and serve the right God. 'I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. ' (1 Timothy 2:1-4) Pray for the country, and let the churches of America pray that the man of God may lead this nation and place it under your sovereignty. Please remember the ancestors of faith who came to this land and lived by the Word for the exemplary life of faith and taught and nurtured their children in a life of faith, and let us rise again as a nation that serves God rightly. We bless and pray that the American church prepares the way for the coming of the Lord by watching and praying so that our children, the next generation, can be healed and strengthened in the love of Christ.

Heavenly Father, thank you for growing the churches in Korea and revitalizing the Korean economy so that the World Conference of Christian Entrepreneurs Worldwide will be held in Korea for the third time. During the convention, God's grace in the order of 'Continental Night' with the theme of 'Asia,' 'Africa,' and 'South America,' respectively, with time, worship and testimony, special lectures and session lectures on each day of the week, and each evening I pray that it overflows. Amid challenging world economic activities through the pandemic, Christian businessmen said, “Therefore, know that the Lord your God is God; he is a faithful God.”(Deuteronomy 7:9) According to the Word of Blessing, acknowledge that the enterprise's owner is God, keep God's Word and commandments, love and receive blessings, obey them, and unite them. Please have mercy on the 2,600 North Korean defectors in China who have defected from North Korea. May the Chinese government abide by the UN Refugee Convention and recognize North Korean defectors as UN refugees by the UN Protocol on the Status of Refugees. Please do not force the 2,600 North Korean defectors to be repatriated to North Korea and acknowledge them as refugees so that they can come to a free Republic of Korea.

Heavenly Father, please have mercy on the Republic of Korea, which is celebrating the 73rd anniversary of the Korean War and the 70th anniversary of the end of the Korean War, and release North Korea, which is still tied up. Please allow us to unite through the Gospel and give us a day when the collapsed churches in North Korea are rebuilt, and worship revives. Please destroy the three idol regimes of North Korea, Kim Il-sung, Kim Jong-il, and Kim Jong-un, who are trying to achieve communism by developing missiles, developing nuclear weapons, and invading South Korea. Please let Korea become a unified nation of the gospel, a missionary nation, an advanced Korea, a gospel nation of liberal democracy, unification, which establishes churches in all countries, comforts and helps Israel, and envies Israel.

Please bless the Zion Convention held from August 10-19 under the theme of “North and South Korea become one through the Holy Spirit.” The Zion Conference proclaims the gospel unification of the Korean Peninsula on the 70th anniversary of the Armistice Agreement. It will be held at Lotte Hotel (Sogong-dong) on August 11 (Fri), Seoul City Hall Plaza on August 14 (Mon), Incheon Songdo International City Convensia, and Jusarang Church (Pastor Jang Sang-gil) on weekdays. “The mystery is that part of Israel has become dull until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, and so all Israel will be saved” (Romans 11:25b-26a). “Prayer Meeting for Israel and All Nations”
