Father God, we (I) pray for Israel.

Father God!

On the 212th day of war, Israel celebrates May 6th, the 80th anniversary of the Holocaust, Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoah). “Eighty years ago, during the Holocaust, the Jewish people were completely defenseless against those who sought to destroy us,” Netanyahu said, remembering the six million victims. No country came to help us. Today, we again face enemies who seek to destroy us. Speaking to world leaders: No matter how much pressure is applied, no decision from any international forum can stop Israel from defending itself. As Prime Minister of Israel, the only Jewish state - I swear here in Jerusalem today on Holocaust Remembrance Day. If Israel is forced to stand alone, she will stand alone. But we know we are not alone because many good people worldwide support our just cause. And I tell you: We will defeat the enemies who commit genocide against Israel. This will never happen now. “Never again is now!” He said.

Heavenly Father, we pray and bless Prime Minister Netanyahu, the government, and the War Cabinet, who declared their resolve against Israel at a time of remembrance and remembrance of the names of the 6 million Jewish victims of the Holocaust. “Be wise therefore, you kings; be instructed, you judges of the earth; serve the LORD in the fear of the Lord; rejoice with trembling.” (Psalm 2:10-11) Please help the country's political leaders and judges receive God's teachings and practice the law uprightly and honestly. On May 5, while Israel was awaiting a ceasefire agreement with Hamas, Hamas fired mortars. It attacked Kerem Shalom on Israel's southern border, where aid supplies are sent from the Rafah region to the Gaza Strip. As a result, four Israeli soldiers were killed, and about ten were injured. Since October 7, 612 Israeli soldiers have died. (Of these, 267 died during the ground operation in Gaza)

Heavenly Father, please comfort and protect the families of Israeli soldiers who died in this war against Hamas. Please help the land and people of Israel become strong and courageous warriors who believe and trust in God according to Your Word. Please control the evil of Hamas, which plans to use civilians as shields to attack Israel and prevent residents from fleeing, causing the deaths of residents in Israel's counterattack and anti-Semitism against Israel. “Woe to the Cherethites, inhabitants of the seashore, for the LORD speaks against you, O Canaan, the land of the Philistines; for I will destroy you, so that you will not be inhabited. The territory will return to the remnant of the house of Judah, and they will feed their flocks there, and lie down in the evening in the houses of Ashkelon; for the LORD their God will visit them and bring back their captivity” (Zephaniah 2:5-7) Please allow the land of Gaza to return fully under Israeli rule so that the residents of Gaza can find stability and peace as an autonomous government along with the West Bank.

Late at night on May 6th, Hamas broadcast that it had agreed to a ceasefire with Israel, further isolating Israel, which is under pressure from nations to a ceasefire, and arousing anti-Semiticism. Hamas broadcast an end to the war that Israel had not yet decided upon, and residents of the Gaza Strip heard the broadcast and poured into the streets, cheering and chanting slogans in support of Hamas. However, Israel has stated that it has not agreed to the conditions for a complete end to the war demanded by Hamas and is guiding Gaza residents in the southern city of Rafah to flee to central and northern Gaza. Israeli officials repeatedly emphasized on the 4th that there could be some truce on the premise of the release of hostages but that there was no change in Israel's existing core position that it would not agree to an end to a complete war. On the night of the 6th, Israel attacked and destroyed terrorist bases such as tunnels along the Rafah border. The Israeli military has been controlling the Rafah border area since around 8 a.m. on the 7th.

Heavenly Father, please rule over Hamas, which attacked Israel last week while Israel was awaiting the results of mediators regarding the release of hostages and falsely reported that a ceasefire and end to the war with Israel had been reached. The Israeli military launched an attack on Hamas leaders and agents and their strongholds in Rafah, the southernmost city of the Gaza Strip. It destroyed tunnels against Hamas, which broke the negotiations and did not return the hostages, and placed all responsibility on Israel. Please help the people of Rafah follow the guidance of the Israeli military to take refuge and not become victims of war.

Heavenly Father, Hezbollah on the Gaza Strip and northern border with Lebanon continues to attack Israel with rockets, drones, and missiles. In particular, Hezbollah in the north continues to make strong attacks. Already, 83,000 residents of cities on the northern border are living as refugees, having left their homes and workplaces. We praise and thank God for protecting Israel. Please destroy their evil schemes and tricks. In this challenging situation, please help Israel become a people who rely more on the Word of God and pray. “I will lift up my eyes toward the mountains; whence will my help come? My help is from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. The LORD will not let you stumble; he who watches over you will not slumber. He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. “He will not” (Psalm 121:1-4). Please help us become a people who praise this faith. Jehovah God will protect Israel, avoid all tribulations, protect the people of Israel, and fulfill all His promises. May Jehovah God the Father protect Israel’s entry and exit forever. Also, during this difficult time, may the people of Israel seek the Lord with all their hearts and cry out to Him in prayer. May the Lord grant His grace and remove the evil things of war and terrorism from this land. Please let this war end quickly and allow abundant restoration in this land through the peace and shalom that the Lord gives.

Father God!

Heavenly Father, we thank you for calling all of us, Gentiles, as intercessors and servants of God’s great and precious work. We pray with the mission of a watchman on the perfect wall. Give us peace in Jerusalem, Lord God, establish Jerusalem and be praised. May the Jews and all the tribes of Israel scattered throughout the nations who must return to their homeland return to the Promised Land. Please work so Aliyah can be fulfilled even among the believing Jews by changing the law of return. Give us the power to fully fulfill the precious mission of praying and serving each of us until the word of God is fulfilled. May I always live a life of faith filled with the Holy Spirit. Please take care of our health.

Father God!

Many flood victims in East African countries suffer from heavy rains that have continued since mid-March. Among them, at least 75 people have died, and 103 are missing over the past seven days due to heavy rain that fell in Rio Grande do Sul state in southern Brazil on May 5. At least 155 people were injured, and a total of 88,000 people were evacuated as flood victims, with about 16,000 staying in temporary evacuation facilities such as schools and gyms. The state's Civil Defense announced that power and communication networks were almost completely cut off, and more than 800,000 people are currently without water supply. On this day, the water level of the Guaiba River reached 5.33m as of 8 am on the 5th, recording the highest water level in history.

# According to the Hapcheon Fire Department in Korea, the river suddenly rose, and the entire village was flooded. Residents were rescued by going up on roofs and rooftops and waving their hands, and one person said that in that situation, the power was out in the house, and everything was covered in mud. The refrigerator couldn't withstand the rising water and fell. When he carried his mother out, even the village hall was flooded. The entire village was submerged in water as high as an adult's height, and the thick stone wall collapsed instantly. Fortunately, thanks to quick reporting and rescue, all 40 residents were rescued safely and spent the night at a nearby shelter. In addition, heavy rain of up to 300 millimeters fell overnight, causing damage to farmland worth 1.75 billion won, including flooding over 1,700 hectares in Jeonnam and destroying barley and oats.

# Heavy rains that hit 14 provinces in Afghanistan for three days killed at least 14 people due to flooding and landslides, submerged roads, and wholly submerged cars.

# In some areas of Guangdong Province in southern China, 480 mm of rain fell in just one day, leaving thousands of people homeless.

# In the United States, a state of emergency was declared in one-third of Texas, where about 300 mm of rain fell in the past three days. At Arizona's Phoenix Desert Botanical Garden Kimberley, beehives melted due to a heat wave that exceeded 40 degrees for nearly a month. It was said that even the cacti growing in the desert could no longer function and were starting to suffocate and die. Professor Min Seung-gi of the Department of Environmental Engineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology said, "The number of regions experiencing high temperatures is increasing globally, and it has been confirmed that more than 60% of areas on the planet (over 2.5% of the top 2.5%) will experience high temperatures by 2040. “The global temperature and sea surface temperature are reaching new record highs this year, following last year.”

Heavenly Father, we continue to hear news of great disasters, such as floods and heat due to abnormal climates worldwide, along with war news. “The hope is that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and attain the glorious freedom of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers together in pain until now.” (Romans 8:18- 21) In this, we realize that all the creatures created by God are groaning and suffering as they wait for the coming of the Lord and that all of these phenomena of natural disasters caused by global warming and climate change are the beginning of catastrophe, signaling that the time of the Lord's coming is near. Please help us to see these things and repent, come to our senses, be alert and sober-minded, and give us the wisdom to live a life filled with the Holy Spirit with wise faith that prepares us to meet the Lord. Let us watch and pray as we prepare for the coming of the Lord, longing for God's kingdom of peace and justice ruled by the Lord, who governs and reigns over all things in the universe. Please help us praise the greatness of the perfect Lord. Give us the fullness of the Holy Spirit and enable us to live the life of a saint of words and prayer.

Father God!

On May 1, the General Assembly of the United Methodist Church (UMC), held in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, passed with 692 delegates overwhelmingly in favor and 51 against, to remove the ban on the ordination of homosexual pastors, which has been prohibited for the past 40 years. However, it was said that individual churches can refuse to send gay pastors and can autonomously decide whether to hold and officiate same-sex weddings. Pastor Chang-min Lee, president of the UMC Korean General Assembly and senior Los Angeles Korean Church pastor, expressed concern about this decision. “At the same time, not only do local churches and senior pastors have full authority over whether to appoint pastors who fit the religious traditions of individual churches and whether to officiate and provide a venue for same-sex marriages. He also said, “I am fortunate that a resolution was reached that does not disadvantage pastors or individual churches.” Meanwhile, as differences of opinion on issues related to sex, such as homosexuality, grew within the UMC, a large number of 7,600 churches that opposed homosexuality and supported a ‘traditional’ position left the denomination. Accordingly, the analysis is that the pro-homosexuality side decided at this general meeting. 

Heavenly Father, “I have this against you that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and who teaches and seduces my servants to commit sexual immorality and to eat things sacrificed to idols. I gave her a chance to repent, and she repented of her fornication. He is not willing. Behold, I will throw her into a bed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds; and I will kill her children with death, and all the churches will be “Know that I am the one who searches the minds and hearts, and I will reward each of you according to what you have done.” “He who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches” (Revelation 2:20-23,29). Even though these words are written in the Bible, American Methodist leaders not only recognize homosexuality and same-sex marriage but are also appointing gay ministers. Please remember and bless the faithful servants of the Lord who disagree with this, leave the denomination, and lose all church property, but keep their faith and obey the Word. Families of faith and children living in this sinful generation should “Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things” (Colossians 3:2). Please give us the power of the Holy Spirit and protect us so that we can live according to these words by thinking about the kingdom of God and overcoming the world with faith in God.

Father God!

About 2,000 Minnesota students and 15 teachers boycotted LGBTQIA history and culture classes in April, a parents' union said. In 2022, the Oseo District Board of Education declared every June ‘Pride Month.’ A resolution was approved that “months other than June should be designated as ‘LGBTQIA+ History and Culture Month’ to support gender-affirming curriculum and educational practices.” In response, the teachers said, ‘This one-sided LGBT political indoctrination violates parents’ rights and teachers’ sincere religious beliefs, and we oppose teaching it. However, rights under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 may be violated for religious convenience. He expressed his position that he feared retaliation if he tried to exercise it. Liberty Counsel, a nonprofit legal group, sent a letter to local school districts asking them to allow teachers and students whose religious beliefs conflict with the class to opt out. The district responded that students and teachers were free to exercise their legal rights to refuse participation. As a result, approximately 1,800 students and at least 15 teachers decided not to attend classes, and 394 students at Maple Grove High School filled out a form to officially opt out of classes.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for protecting the rights of students, parents, and teachers in public schools by uniting parents to ensure that they do not support the agenda of school board members. We pray that intercessors and churches will become more aware of the importance of each local school district making important decisions about our children's schooling. “Supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings should be made for all people, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and holiness” (1 Timothy 2:1) -2) With these words, we pray for the educational leaders responsible for our children's education. “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not turn away from it” (Proverbs 22:6). We pray that these words will be fulfilled. This generation's children are exposed to unbiblical education, diverse genders, and transgender culture, not only about LGBTQ people but also about the dignity of life. We pray that the Word may be a lamp to our children's feet and a light to their paths. Please give our children faith and wisdom so they can learn the truth of the Word and walk the right path of life.

Father God!

In Tennessee, a Christian student disadvantaged because of his religious beliefs won a settlement against his school. Brielle Penkoski, a student who came to school wearing a T-shirt with the phrase “homosexuality is a sin (1 Corinthians 6:9-10),” was told by the school that the message was offensive. School officials said the t-shirt contained sexual references and was, therefore, inappropriate on school grounds to justify asking Penkosky to refrain from wearing it. In response, the student's father pointed out that there was a gay pride flag in the classroom. The Overton County Board of Education countered, claiming it constituted sexual language, and settled with the student, Brielle, by paying Penkoski a symbolic $100 and covering all costs related to the incident.

Heavenly Father, we thank you that the current government recently enacted the ‘Title 9’ amendment to protect homosexual students, allowing schools to respond to all types of gender discrimination actively. Currently, homosexual and transgender students are allowed to use restrooms and shower facilities according to their gender identity. We are grateful that this agreement recognizes freedom of speech as an individual's right to express one's views and beliefs, even if others disagree. We would also like to thank you for planning a session to increase teachers' understanding of the First Amendment and its application within the school environment. We want churches and parents to pray more about this situation where sexual identity in America is highly polluted. Please pour out the power of prayer.

Father God!

We pray for the November presidential election in the United States. Let a chosen leader be raised who can realize the values of the Bible according to the Word and correct all crookedness. Please help believers who believe in God and pray for the president and members of the Senate and House of Representatives so that they can discern and elect the people with a spirit of fear of the Lord. Let the media honestly report on the election campaign process and give the people the ears and discernment to judge and listen properly. In the name of Jesus, we cancel biased reports and public opinion, forming negative frames targeting specific candidates. We want those who fear God to devote themselves to the people and the country as presidents and leaders and have fair elections without manipulation or fraud. Let a president stand who restores America’s holiness by protecting its founding ideals and constitutional values and enacting an abortion law that saves the life of the fetus. Please help America become a just country of light that God uses until the end.

In the '2024 World Press Freedom Index' report released by Reporters Without Borders, headquartered in Paris, France, Korea's press freedom has worsened. It ranks 62nd among 180 countries worldwide, down 15 from last year's good group. It was in the third ‘problematic’ group, along with the United States (55th) and Japan (70th). Reporters Without Borders said that "several media companies in Korea have been threatened with prosecution on charges of defamation, etc." and that "journalists are often unable to properly fulfill their role as watchdogs due to conflicts of interest with companies."

Heavenly Father, please help Korean media outlets do their jobs well and become journalists who earn people’s trust by delivering accurate and accurate information. “Please let us become media outlets and journalists who are not tied down to any power above but accurately report every incident and take the lead in realizing justice in society.” “Thus says the LORD: Stand in the courts of the temple of the LORD and speak to the worshipers in the temple of the LORD from all the cities of Judah, all the words I have commanded you; do not diminish one word of it. Then, I will turn from the way I had planned to bring disaster on them because of their wicked ways. Thus you will say to them, ‘Thus says the LORD: ‘You will not obey me and walk in my law that I have set before you; “I continually sent my servants the prophets, telling you to obey their words, but you did not obey” (Jeremiah 26:2-5) Please raise prophets who will accurately spread the word of God in Korea. Please help us become a Republic of Korea where God's heart is conveyed as a mission, and the people will understand it immediately and stand upright before God.

On May 6, civic group officials, including the National Movement for the Truth About Forced Repatriation of North Korean Defectors and the World Coalition Against the Forced Repatriation of North Korean Defectors, held a press conference in Myeong-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, urging China to stop forcibly repatriating North Korean defectors. There are successive reports that the Chinese government surprise repatriated North Korean defectors who had been imprisoned in detention facilities within the country to North Korea last week. The scale of repatriation to North Korea ranges from as few as 50 to 60 people to as many as 100 to 200 people, and the National Intelligence Service did not deny these reports, saying, “We have been continuously tracking the possibility of the Chinese authorities forcibly repatriating additional North Korean defectors.” In October last year, Chinese authorities received international criticism for surprisingly repatriating 500 to 600 of the 2,000 North Korean defectors detained during the three-year coronavirus lockdown but are resuming the repatriation of North Korean defectors. North Korean defectors are international refugees who escape from starvation. When they are sent back to North Korea, they are destined for hell, where they are tortured, assaulted, and, in extreme cases, lose their lives. China has repatriated these people to North Korea even though it has joined the Convention on the Status of Refugees and the Convention against Torture. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs maintains “a firm position that under no circumstances should North Korean defectors staying abroad be forcibly repatriated to North Korea against their free will” but has not responded publicly to China. This issue has become awkward as we persuade the Chinese government to hold a Korea-China-Japan summit this month. We are condemning the forced repatriation of North Korean defectors to North Korea because they are citizens of the Republic of Korea under the Constitution, and their lives are at stake.

Heavenly Father, we especially pray for the human rights of North Korean defectors in China. The Chinese government does not recognize the status of UN refugees. It is forcibly repatriating them to North Korea by the UN Refugee Convention and the UN Protocol on the Status of Refugees. In this situation, please rule over the foolishness and injustice of the government and National Assembly members in ignoring China and the Chinese Communist Party, which is forcibly repatriating North Korean defectors to North Korea. “God is our God of salvation; we have escaped from death because of the Lord God. God will strike and crush the head of his enemies, the crown of the head of one who walks in sin.” (Psalm 68:20,21) Please work to save North Korean defectors from death and allow them to be recognized as refugees and come to the free Republic of Korea. Please rule over those who block them, have mercy on our people who are suffering and being trampled in North Korea, and give us the day of liberation when the Three Eighth Precepts opens as soon as possible. Please give us the wisdom and courage to make sound conscience, discernment, and decisions so that the government of the Republic of Korea, the National Assembly, and the courts can make sound politics, decisions, and judgments based on the Constitution. Please help us become the Republic of Korea, where the deep-rooted corruption of wrongful wealth accumulation and abuse of power is eradicated, and a good conscience and social justice are established. Let the leaders of the Republic of Korea live righteous lives and become people who love and serve their country and people. In particular, please help God's children and the church that believes in Heavenly Father, serve the Lord in His peace, and live the life of witnesses of the gospel so that all citizens can come before the Lord.

Father God!

Please help those who were elected in the election held on April 10th to establish the Republic of Korea as a democratic country and to strive to educate and educate the next generation properly. Please help us avoid our wrongdoings and become honest people before God. In particular, may those who believe in God fear God through faith that takes the lead in serving the country rather than those who serve their party. Please bless me so that I may be raised as a devoted and faithful worker who knows this era through the Word of God. We acknowledge that everything is in the hands of the Lord and pray for our country and people. May the Republic of Korea be established as a nation that fears God and becomes a unified Korea through faith. Please help us become a country that spreads the works of God to all nations. Please help the Korean churches serve the Lord on their knees in prayer, not forgetting that they have prayed and taken the lead in building the country and receiving today's blessings amidst the problematic history of the past. Please help me fill the remaining cup of prayer that opens the door to unification. Please help Korea become a Christian nation used by God, a missionary, and an advanced and unified anti-communist liberal democratic market economy. Please help us become a country that is blessed with pro-Israel policies and makes Israel jealous.

The Korean branch is planning a Holy Spirit-filled prayer meeting for Christian female leaders on June 4-5. May the Holy Spirit guide you.

We plan a seminar for Korean missionaries in Israel from September 23rd to 30th. Please bless us so that the doors that have been shrunk due to Israel's war will be wide open, and please keep the instructors and all attendees solid and safe with the Holy Spirit.

# Please bless all executives and branch heads, including the president. What we ask of those in charge is loyalty, so let them obey for the glory of the Lord and let only the gospel be revealed. 

We pray for the Wednesday All Nations Prayer Meeting, held online every week. Thank you for blessing the Nations Prayer Meeting, which has been working diligently every week. Bless the ICC Church and the Virginia House of Prayer for the Nations (VHOP). Thank you for allowing us to make the recent 'Prayer Video' to pray for the fulfillment of the Bible and the video to convey "God's Time and Israel".
