Prayer for the Restoration of Israel and Nations
'But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are now already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands, that is to say, is not a part of this creation. He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption. ' (Hebrews 9:11-12) Father God, we (I) pray for Israel. Father God! On October 1st, from 7:30 PM, for about 30 minutes, Iran fired about 180 ballistic missiles toward Israel, causing rocket alerts to sound throughout Israel and Israeli airports to be closed for a while. Since then, many airlines have suspended flights, but Israeli airlines and airports are operating normally, and airlines that had suspended operations are resuming operations. The missiles were intercepted by Israeli defenses that day, and two people were slightly injured by shrapnel. The Israeli military also announced that a small part of a building at the southern air base was damaged and that it would launch retaliatory attacks against Iran for this attack. # October 7th marked the first anniversary of the Hamas terror attack, and memorial services were held in Gaza border towns and other places to commemorate those killed in the terror attack. Even during the memorial service, Hamas, Hezbollah, and Yemen's "Axis of Resistance" forces led by Iran have launched a joint attack on Israel. Hamas in the Gaza Strip, which had been quiet for a while, has fired rockets toward Israel, and Hezbollah in the north has launched over 100 missiles toward the northern Galilee and Haifa. The Houthi rebels in Yemen have also been firing long-range rockets toward Israel. Father God, thank you for intercepting and blocking all the ballistic missiles launched by Iran toward Israel on the eve of the Feast of Trumpets in the year 5785 of the Israeli New Year. Hezbollah's retaliatory attacks since the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah have continued with numerous rocket attacks daily toward northern Israel, Haifa, Tel Aviv, and Ben Gurion Airport. In the midst of this, the Israeli IDF has been conducting ground operations across the Lebanese border since the early hours of October 2. Israel's targeted ground operations are supported by the Israeli Air Force and tanks and artillery, attacking Hezbollah's terror infrastructure along the southern border of Lebanon. Thank you for attacking the rocket launchers and weapons installed in the weapons warehouses and private homes. Father God, we pray that you will rule over and punish Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Hezbollah on the northern Lebanese border, and the Houthi terrorist group in southern Yemen, who are attacking Israel in Iran’s evil scheme to destroy Israel. Please let the Israeli government and military achieve the strategic goal of Israel’s ground war against Hezbollah so that the citizens of the northern region can return to their homes and live in peace during the holidays. Please lead Hezbollah to leave the Lebanese border altogether so that Lebanon and Israel can have a peaceful relationship and open their borders. Please implement the UN resolution on the demilitarization of the southern Litani River and normalize Lebanese politics. We pray for the restoration of relations between Israel and Lebanon and the establishment of borders that will bring about true peace. We believe this war belongs to you, Father God, and we continue to proclaim the words of Psalm 121 and pray to the Lord God, who protects Israel. I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; Indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. Father God, please protect the lives of the 101 hostages still being held by Hamas in Gaza and open the way for their quick return. Please have mercy on the Gazans who have fled their homes due to war and are living in pain under the evil Hamas, and I pray that healing will come to their land. Also, please protect the lives of Israeli citizens and police officers from the terrorism that is occurring throughout Israel. Please protect and keep the health of Israeli soldiers who are fighting for the peace of the land of Israel that you promised. “Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel,” declares the LORD. “I will help you, and your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. Behold, I will make you a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; you will beat the mountains and crush them, and make the hills like chaff.” (Isaiah 41:14-15) According to this word, God makes the soldiers of Israel into new threshing sleds so that they may become brave soldiers and an army that fulfills God’s word. I pray that God will protect and help the soldiers working hard on the battlefield again. “For you are holy, O Lord, enthroned in the praises of Israel.” (Psalm 22:3) I praise the holy God of Israel. Father God! On October 1, two terrorists got off at the Tel Aviv-Yaffa light rail station and indiscriminately shot and killed eight people. On October 6, a shooting and stabbing attack at the Beersheba Central Bus Terminal killed one person and injured eight others. Father God, the new year of 5785 continues amid the pain of war, and terror attacks against innocent civilians are occurring. We pray that the new year will bring victory in battle and days of peace that the Lord bestows on this land. Also, to these people who are going through the pain of war and terror, “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” (John 14:27) We pray that you will come to know the Messiah Yeshua, who gives true peace, and that you will become people who enjoy the peace of this heaven. Father God! October 12th is the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur). It is the day when the high priest once a year slaughters the sin-offering goat for all the Israelites and enters the Most Holy Place inside the veil with its blood to make atonement. However, those who do not have a temple experience extraordinary repentance and restoration of relationships for ten days, from the Feast of Trumpets to the Day of Atonement, a day of repentance (Slihoth) for each other. On the Day of Atonement, all the Israelites fast, all vehicle traffic is prohibited, and they go to the Wailing Wall to pray for repentance and observe the festival. We praise the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, who protects Israel and gives her victory in war. We pray that you purify Jerusalem for the holy name of God the Father. We destroy all the idols that have defiled the temple of Jerusalem in the name of Yeshua. We oppose all the evil deeds of the pagans in the Valley of the Hinnom and the foreign gods in the Valley of Kidron in the name of Yeshua and burn them with the fire of the Holy Spirit. Covered with the blood of Yeshua, we declare that Jerusalem will be purified in the mighty name of Yeshua. The altar of Abraham on Mount Moriah will be restored. The altar of the burnt offering on the threshing floor of Araunah of David will be erected. The temple established through Solomon, proclaiming peace, will be established as a house of prayer for all peoples, and worship will be restored! Glory be to the holy Jehovah God alone. We declare that the complete restoration of Jerusalem will be accomplished in the name of the Messiah Yeshua, who will come again! Father God! Heavenly Father, we thank you for calling all of us, Gentiles, as intercessors and servants of God’s great and precious work. We pray with the mission of a watchman on the perfect wall. Give us peace in Jerusalem, Lord God, establish Jerusalem and be praised. May the Jews and all the tribes of Israel scattered throughout the nations who must return to their homeland return to the Promised Land. Please work so Aliyah can be fulfilled even among the believing Jews by changing the law of return. Give us the power to fully fulfill the precious mission of praying and serving each of us until the word of God is fulfilled. May I always live a life of faith filled with the Holy Spirit. Please take care of our health. In the name of Yeshua Messiah, I (we) pray for Israel.
'The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth. ' (Psalms 34:15-16) Father God! According to the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), Chinese authorities have removed crosses and religious images from churches as a policy to integrate Chinese Communist Party ideology into spiritual practice. They are replacing them with portraits of President Xi Jinping and the late Chairman Mao Zedong. These changes are part of a campaign to “Sinicize Religion,” in which “authorities have ordered the removal of crosses from churches and replaced pictures of Jesus Christ or the Virgin Mary with pictures of President Xi Jinping.” China seeks to completely control religion through state laws, regulations, and policies, and the ideology of the Chinese Communist Party shapes every aspect of religious life. Religious elements deemed to be against the political agenda are actively eliminated, and underground and house churches face serious consequences, including closures, surveillance, and arrests of prominent religious leaders. In particular, strict policies prohibiting all children under the age of 18 from receiving any form of religious education have forced Christians to hold smaller, more secret meetings to avoid detection and punishment. Since 2018, Chinese Christians have been subject to state surveillance and interference and regulation of religious activities, which has led to the collapse of traditional worship, spiritual practices, and activities. It has been said that believers are escaping from this persecution in search of freedom. Father God, the Chinese Communist Party has strengthened its policy of perverting churches by suppressing church leaders and believers in China and reinforcing and threatening new religious guidelines. They are replacing the cross and pictures of Yeshua with pictures of Xi Jinping and propaganda images of the Party and are persecuting Christians. Chinese believers are being oppressed under the Xi Jinping regime, and its control is influencing churches. Please let believers not follow perverted religions but keep their faith and be strong and victorious. “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32). Please let us enjoy freedom through the Lord’s words, as this word says. “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” (John 14:27). Please comfort and give peace to the churches and saints in China so they may dwell in the peace of the Lord in His word. And may the Lord rule over the Xi Jinping regime in China, which is persecuting Christianity, closing down churches, and distorting them. Also, it is said that the Xi Jinping Communist Party in China is rewriting the Bible to fit the Chinese Communist Party system. Please remember their wickedness in trying to distort the infallible Word of God and rule over them with Your Majesty. Please protect and guard the house churches in China, and may the Holy Spirit comfort the believers and give them the courage to keep their faith and win. May the day come when the believers in China can freely gather, ultimately learn the true Word of God, and worship Him. May the Lord rule over China and help and protect the believers. Father God! Archbishop John Wilson of Southwark visited Nigeria after hearing about the martyrdoms there and sent a message to Christians. He asked for prayers, saying, “Please pay more attention to our persecuted brothers and sisters.” He said, “Christian abuse is a topic that has not been given much attention. Christians here are being attacked, kidnapped, and killed in great numbers.” Archbishop Wilson also said, “I am moved by the way those I have met continue to hold on to their faith in the most difficult circumstances.” They live with the most impressive and beautiful faith while enduring the most incredible hardships, and they meet and serve the Lord differently than those of us who are not challenged by the power of the cross and resurrection. Archbishop Wilson said he felt that all Christians should support and seek the protection of our persecuted brothers and sisters and asked for prayers for the saints in Nigeria. Father God, amid the greatest tribulation and persecution in the world, churches and villages are being burned, and many Christians are being kidnapped. Also, please protect and comfort the Nigerian believers who keep their faith and fervently worship and serve God even amid martyrdom. Last year, more than 8,200 Nigerian believers were martyred, and this year, in May alone, we heard the news of 276 martyrs, and we also heard the news of continued attacks by the Fulani armed forces. “When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony they had maintained. And they cried out with a loud voice, ‘O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?’ White robes were given to each of them, and it was said to them, ‘You should rest for a little while, until the number of your fellow servants and your brothers, who were to be killed as they were, should be completed.’” (Rev. 6:9-11) Let us pray with these words in mind. When the number of martyrs is complete, we believe the Lord will come again and avenge the blood of His servants who kept their faith and gave their lives. We look to the Lord, who gives the crown of life to the saints who are faithful to death. Please pour out the Holy Spirit more and comfort the children of the Lord who serve and worship Him with their lives in Nigeria, in communist countries, and Islamic countries. Please protect them and add faith to their faith so they can boldly win. Only the Lord is the king. We worship only the Lord. Lord, receive our life and receive glory. We (I) prayed for the nations in the name of Yeshua Messiah. Amen.
'All Judah rejoiced about the oath because they had sworn it wholeheartedly. They sought God eagerly, and he was found by them. So the Lord gave them rest on every side. ' (2 Chronicles 15:15) Father God, I (we) pray for the US.
Father God!
The New York Times, a progressive newspaper in the United States, pointed out in an editorial by Sarah Chase, author of “Corruption in America: What’s at stake,” that the current ruling party has a corruption problem. New York Mayor Eric Adams was found guilty of federal corruption for soliciting campaign contributions from a Turkish company and hiding the source of the fake donor. Former New Jersey Senator Robert Menendez was found guilty of fraud and bribery. The fact that many California public officials are in federal prison for illegal reasons shows that corruption is a problem for the Progressive Party and that the weaponization of the judiciary shows abuse of power. Another is the danger of the progressive party’s attacks on pro-lifers and those who oppose gender reassignment surgery for minors. When pro-life activist Mark Hock and his then-12-year-old son were praying outside an abortion clinic (PlannedParenthood), a volunteer from the clinic harassed Mark’s son, who was avoiding him, and Mark pushed him away. The day the DOJ announced that they were indicting him under the Freedom of Access to Hospitals (FACE) Act, several heavily armed FBI trucks surrounded his home, and federal agents armed with M-16 rifles woke his sleeping children and arrested him in front of them. Thankfully, the trial jury found Hawk not guilty on the federal charges, sparing him time in prison, but he said his children had PTSD, a form of stress disorder.
Father God, we pray that this administration's corruption and the DOJ's abuse of law enforcement through various cases will be stopped. In particular, we pray that the FDA will remove safety regulations for the abortion drug mifepristone, which is intended to legalize abortion. We oppose the DOJ’s refusal to enforce the Comstock Act, which prohibits mailing abortion drugs, and all policies that negatively affect the biblical values of life, family, and gender in the name of Jesus, the Lord of life. In this age where media reports and cultural trends are further encouraging corruption due to these sins of the times, we hope that the church and the believers of faith will repent and pray. “The glory of the God of Israel, who was in the group, came to the threshold of the temple, and the LORD called to the man clothed in linen with the scribe’s inkhorn, and the LORD said to him, ‘Go through the midst of the city of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the abominations that are being done in it.’” (Ezekiel 9:3-4) According to the words of the Father who spoke, please put a seal on the foreheads of the believers who see the abominations of corruption of this age, intercede, repent, and pray, and make them protected in the time of tribulation.
Father God!
Last week, Hurricane Helen swept through the southeastern states of the United States, killing at least 200 people in six states, and Florida is still struggling with the aftermath of the storm. The environment and smells in the affected areas are much worse than you see on TV, and many regions are isolated and without electricity and internet. Pastor Franklin Graham, CEO of the Samaritan's Purse, is helping the victims, saying, "Even during suffering and difficult pain, we must believe in the faithful God and rely on and help each other."
Father God, we thank you for the faith-based relief organizations in the United States that are helping victims worldwide and taking the lead in helping flood victims who are in trouble. “Which of these three, in your opinion, proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?” He said, “The one who showed mercy.” Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.” (Luke 10:36-37) Like this verse, we are grateful for sharing and leading in helping those the government cannot help. We are grateful for President Trump’s help in providing Wi-Fi for communication in the affected areas and SpaceX sending Starlink devices to help isolated regions. In these challenging times, relief organizations and the public have come together to raise over $7 million in a fundraising campaign for those affected by Hurricane Helen. We are grateful for neighbors helping and comforting each other. Through these difficulties, may we come to God, the Creator and Ruler of the universe. Please help us overcome difficulties by trusting in the Lord, who loves and cares for us even during these stormy times of suffering.
Father God!
Pray for the November US presidential election. Mail-in voting and early voting are already underway in each state. Please ensure that all election procedures are conducted fairly and without fraud, cover the presidential and vice presidential candidates with the blood of Jesus, and protect them from assassination attempts. “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, like the rivers of water; he turns them wherever he pleases” (Prov. 21:1). Please require proper ID for elections in all states. Please pray that the 10 states that are putting abortion laws on the ballot will choose pro-life policies. Please elect all leaders who fear the Lord and value the truth of the Bible and life in the 7 swing states in the US. Please establish a president who will lead the US with the truth of the Bible and justice, as well as many senators, representatives, and state governors who will work with him. Please let the people have the proper discernment to judge and vote for the false propaganda that abortion is a personal freedom and reproductive right and that it is being used in elections. Please select those who fear and serve the Lord, and bless America so that it can become a country that pleases the Lord and is re-established as one that ultimately serves the Lord.
We (I) prayed for America in the name of Yeshua, Messiah. Amen.
'Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord , the people he chose for his inheritance. ' (Psalms 33:12)
Father God, I (we) pray for South Korea. Father God!
As the North Korean regime continues to 'erase unification,' there is a possibility that Kim Jong-un will scrap the 1991 Inter-Korean Basic Agreement at the upcoming Supreme People's Assembly. The Inter-Korean Basic Agreement is a document signed after the 5th Inter-Korean High-level Talks in December 1991. It contains provisions that stipulate reconciliation and non-aggression between the South and the North and a phrase that seeks unification. It has been evaluated as a document of great significance to inter-Korean relations, as all previous governments, whether conservative or progressive, have implemented policies toward the North under the framework of this agreement. However, North Korea will likely scrap the Inter-Korean Basic Agreement, deny the Northern Limit Line (NLL) in the West Sea, and declare an arbitrary 'maritime border' at the Supreme People's Assembly. It is understood that measures to cut off the South and the North, such as the demolition of the Gyeongui Line and Donghae Line roads and railroads, are also continuously being carried out.
Father God, Kim Jong-un, is trying to eliminate the concepts of unification, reconciliation, and compatriotism between South and North Korea and trying to eliminate the concepts of unification and reconciliation from the history of the nation. Rather than communicating, Kim Jong-un is showing a strategy of further cutting off relations with the outside world, changing the political and cultural direction of the North Korean people and giving them a new identity. Please pity this reality where Kim Jong-un is strengthening his policy of erasing unification and further strengthening his dictatorship. “For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but powerful in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.” [2 Corinthians 10:4-5] According to this verse, I believe that our weapons are not of the flesh but have the power of God to pull down strongholds. Given that unification seems far away due to the theories and policies that Kim Jong-un advocates, please do not let the faith of the churches and believers in South Korea be broken, but rather let them be more awake and armed with the power of the Holy Spirit. Please let the theories that have been raised before God and the policies of Kim Jong-un that oppose them become useless before God and be shattered entirely before the power of God. Please let the cup of prayer for gospel unification be filled so that South Korea can become a nation used to establish God's kingdom in these last days and a nation that takes on the mission of awakening the times. Let it be held entirely in the hands of the Lord. Please give us the power to become a unified nation through the gospel and boldly be used as a nation that prepares for the coming of the Lord.
Father God!
On October 16, the former superintendent of education was removed from office due to abuse of power and violation of the National Civil Service Act, and a by-election will be held for the position in Seoul. This election is a significant opportunity to determine the direction of education for the next generation. Pastor Lee Jae-hoon, the chairman of the Sahak Mission, said, "The election of the right superintendent of education is a fundamental matter that will determine not only the normalization of education in Seoul but also the future of the Republic of Korea" and requested active participation from Korean church members. The Korean Federation of Teachers' Associations stated, "As the person responsible for deciding the administration and education of all schools in Seoul, the superintendent of education has the grave responsibility of establishing the values of students, who are the main players in the future society, and cultivating their abilities to become capable individuals." "Christian alternative schools that mainly accept out-of-school youth should be provided with a more stable educational environment, and Christian elementary, middle, and high schools should maintain their founding spirit by providing Bible education, free worship, and hiring teachers with Christian faith." "We must examine who the leader is who can solve these problems and judge with faith," he emphasized.
Father God, we place the children's generation, who are living in a more difficult time than ever, in your hands. In an era where all kinds of things confuse their thoughts and tempt them, confusing the goodwill of God, election day has come to elect a leader who will lead the educational field that educates and goes out to these children. We hope that the proper leader who respects the dignity and value of each student will be elected, recognize that they are created in God's image, and lead them with the proper discernment in justice and righteousness. "But you, man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness" [1 Timothy 6:11]. As in this verse, please grant us grace so that a candidate who can lead the growth of such a person of God in the field of education can be elected. Please give wisdom to the voters, guide them to make the right choice, and use each of their votes to bring about change so that the next generation can dream of a bright future in the Lord. Also, let fairness and honesty be maintained in the election process. Please intervene in this election by the Holy Spirit so that the superintendent who is in line with God’s heart is elected, and the next generation can discover their purpose and mission in life, become God’s joy, and be concretely established as workers who lack nothing.
