Prayer for the Restoration of Israel and Nations      

10/16-10/22/24>

'Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before you! As when fire sets twigs ablaze and causes water to boil, come down to make your name known to your enemies and cause the nations to quake before you! '

(Isaiah 64:1-2)

Father God, we (I) pray for Israel.

Father God!

On October 12, Hezbollah, which fired 320 rockets toward Israel on Yom Kippur, launched two suicide drones on the 13th. One was intercepted and detonated in the air. Still, the other one fell into the dining hall of the Golani Brigade military base in Wadi Ara, killing four soldiers and injuring 67.

Father God, Hezbollah on the border of Lebanon, while talking about a ceasefire with Israel, launched more rockets into Israel and attacked the Israeli military base with suicide drones. The suicide drones fell on the military base, killing four and injuring more than 60. These soldiers were young, only 19 years old, and it is heartbreaking to hear of these deaths and injuries during training. Please heal and comfort the wounded soldiers completely, and comfort and help the parents who lost their young sons who served in the military for their country. In particular, the UN forces in the Lebanese border demilitarized zone did not stop Hezbollah from digging a tunnel in the DMG area, a military UN base (UNIFIL), and placing many rockets and war materials on the equipment. However, please have mercy on the UN Secretary-General and the UN countries who say that Israel's attack is a violation of the law of war. Please let them realize that they have failed to fulfill their duty as UN forces and immediately discern and address this. "How can I give you up, O Ephraim? How can I abandon you, O Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I make you like Zeboiim? My heart is turned within me, and my compassion is kindled completely. I will not show my fierce anger, I will not destroy Ephraim again, for I am God and not man; the Holy One in your midst will not come upon you in anger.” (Hosea 11:8-9) According to this word, we pray with thanksgiving that you will not destroy Israel but will protect and show mercy. Please let Israel become a people who cry out to the Lord God and pray and a nation that reveals God's glory.

Father God, Israel’s ground operation, supported by the Israeli Air Force and tank artillery, has found tunnels on the southern border of Lebanon and attacked Hezbollah’s terrorist infrastructure. Thank you for finding and attacking rocket launchers and weapons installed in weapons depots and private homes. Please let the strategic goals of Israel’s ground war be achieved and lead us so that Hezbollah can no longer exist on the Lebanese border and so that the border between Lebanon and Israel can be opened in a peaceful relationship. Please help us to implement the UN resolution on the demilitarization of southern Lebanon. Please help us to normalize Lebanese politics, restore full relations between Israel and Lebanon, and establish a border that will bring about true peace.

We believe this war belongs to you, Father God, and we continue to proclaim the words of Psalm 121 and pray to the Lord God, who protects Israel.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber;

Indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand;

the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life;

the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Father God, please protect the lives of the 101 hostages still being held by Hamas in Gaza and open the way for their quick return. Please have mercy on the Gazans who have fled their homes due to war and are living in pain under the evil Hamas, and I pray that healing will come to their land. Also, please protect the lives of Israeli citizens and police officers from the terrorism that is occurring throughout Israel. Please protect and keep the health of Israeli soldiers who are fighting for the peace of the land of Israel that you promised. “Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel,” declares the LORD. “I will help you, and your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. Behold, I will make you a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; you will beat the mountains and crush them, and make the hills like chaff.” (Isaiah 41:14-15) According to this word, God makes the soldiers of Israel into new threshing sleds so that they may become brave soldiers and an army that fulfills God’s word. I pray that God will protect and help the soldiers working hard on the battlefield again. “For you are holy, O Lord, enthroned in the praises of Israel.” (Psalm 22:3) I praise the holy God of Israel.

3. Father God!

All the idols that defiled Israel and the temple of Jerusalem are destroyed in the name of Yeshua. All the evil deeds of the pagans in the Valley of the Hinnom and the foreign gods in the Valley of Kidron are confronted in the name of Yeshua and are consumed by the fire of the Holy Spirit. We declare that Jerusalem is covered with the blood of Yeshua and purified in the mighty name of Yeshua. The altar of Abraham on Mount Moriah will be restored. The altar of the burnt offering on the threshing floor of Araunah of David will be erected. The temple that Solomon established to proclaim peace will be established as a house of prayer for all peoples, and worship will be restored! Glory be to the holy Jehovah God alone. We declare that the complete restoration of Jerusalem will be accomplished in the name of the Messiah Yeshua, who will come again!

 Father God!

Heavenly Father, we thank you for calling all of us, Gentiles, as intercessors and servants of God’s great and precious work. We pray with the mission of a watchman on the perfect wall. Give us peace in Jerusalem, Lord God, establish Jerusalem and be praised. May the Jews and all the tribes of Israel scattered throughout the nations who must return to their homeland return to the Promised Land. Please work so Aliyah can be fulfilled even among the believing Jews by changing the law of return. Give us the power to fully fulfill the precious mission of praying and serving each of us until the word of God is fulfilled. May I always live a life of faith filled with the Holy Spirit. Please take care of our health.

'Among the gods there is none like you, Lord; no deeds can compare with yours. All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord; they will bring glory to your name. For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God. '

Father God!

On the 9th of last month, Ruhr University Bochum in Germany and the International Peace and Armed Conflict Research Institute (IFHV) analyzed and evaluated the negative impacts of extreme natural disasters and climate change in the “World Risk Report 2024.” It reported that 41 out of 193 countries were included in the World Risk Index 5 stage's hazardous stage. By continent, 13 countries in Central and South America, 11 countries in Asia, 6 in the Middle East and North Africa, 5 in Sub-Saharan Africa, and 6 in North America and Oceania were classified as high-risk countries vulnerable to natural disasters.

# UNICEF said that the typhoon in September alone caused problems for 6 million children throughout Southeast Asia regarding access to clean water and food. It said that more than 850 schools and 550 health facilities were damaged.

# In Vietnam, more than 300 people have died, and 3 million people have been displaced without access to water and sanitation facilities. In addition, approximately 2 million children have had their classes restricted and cannot access school feeding programs.

# In Myanmar, at least 220 people have died, 160,000 homes have been destroyed, and more than 320,000 people have been displaced. In central Myanmar, there has been severe damage to road networks, communications, and electricity infrastructure.

# In northern Thailand, heavy rains and floods have destroyed homes and some schools, seriously affecting 64,000 children.

# In Laos, 62 villages across eight provinces have been flooded due to typhoons and floods, and 60,000 children have had difficulty accessing water and schools.

# The most recent damage was caused by Hurricane Helen, which hit the southeastern United States, killing more than 200 people in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia, and the hurricane is still hitting Florida.

Father God, we continue to hear news of great disasters, such as typhoons and floods, caused by abnormal weather conditions worldwide, along with news of war. “You who have shown us great hardships, will revive us and bring us up again from the depths of the earth” (Psalm 71:20). As the psalmist confesses in his prayer, please let the suffering and those who are taking refuge seek God's help and come to God as our help with hope. Please comfort those who have lost their homes and families and are in sorrow and hardship due to the typhoon damage, and primarily protect and show mercy to the young lives. And may all the people of this age realize that God rules and governs all things and all weather, and may they come before the Lord. “In hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the glorious freedom of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now.” (Romans 8:18-21) In this, we realize that all the creatures God has made are groaning and suffering while waiting for the Lord’s coming. All these natural disasters caused by global warming and climate change are the beginning of disasters and signal that the Lord’s coming is near. May we see these things, repent, come to our senses, become sober-minded, and give us the wisdom to live a life filled with the Holy Spirit with a wise faith that prepares us to meet the Lord. Please let us yearn for the kingdom of God, of peace and justice ruled by the Lord, who rules and governs all things in the universe. Let us prepare the way for the Lord to come and pray with alertness. Please let us praise only the greatness of the perfect Lord. Please give us the fullness of the Holy Spirit and let us live the life of believers of words and prayer.

Father God!

In July and August, 64 Christians were killed in attacks by Fulani herders in the Ukum area of ​​Nigeria. On July 3, 11 Christians were killed in the villages of Ayati and Borikyo, while on July 21, two adults and a six-year-old boy were killed in the town of Sankara. On August 8, Fulani herders attacked a village in Ukum, Benue State, in central Nigeria, killing at least 50 Christians and abducting dozens of villagers through violence and arson. Benue State Police Spokesperson Catherine Anene said that they were gathering information about the increase in violence in three areas, including Logo, Kastina-Ala, and Ukum.

Father God, over 8,200 Nigerian believers were martyred last year. This year, we heard news of 276 martyrs in May and 64 more martyrs in July and August due to continued attacks by the Fulani militia. Please help the Nigerian government authorities to come up with practical measures to strengthen security and protect the people, including Christians, for the safety of all citizens. Please protect and comfort the Nigerian believers who keep their faith and worship and serve God even during the world's worst tribulation and persecution, where churches and villages are burned and countless Christians are kidnapped and killed. “When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony they had maintained. They cried out with a loud voice, ‘Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?’ White robes were given to each of them. They were told to rest for a little while, until their fellow servants and their brothers, who were to be killed as they were, were completed.” (Rev. 6:9-11) We pray with these words in my heart. When the number of martyrs is complete, the Lord will come again and avenge the blood of His servants who kept their faith and gave their lives. We look to the Lord, who gives the crown of life to the faithful saints who died. Please pour out the Holy Spirit even more on the children of the Lord who serve and worship Him in Nigeria, communist countries, and Islamic countries at this time. Please comfort and protect them and give them faith in their faith so that they can overcome boldly. Only the Lord is King. We worship only the Lord. Lord, receive our lives and be glorified.

Father God, I (we) pray for the US.

Father God!

On the Day of Atonement on October 12, hundreds of thousands of Christians from all over the country gathered in Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States, from morning to evening, fasting and praying for the United States and its people. Thousands of women from the organization 'Million Women' protested against the LGBTQ movement and gender transition policies that popular culture is using to deceive children into changing their gender. They participated wearing pink shirts with the words, "Don't touch our children." They encouraged that this repentance and prayer gathering could be the last chance to save the country from the forces of darkness in the presidential election next month, and they offered repentance, worship, praise, and prayer. “Those who know your name, O LORD, will put their trust in you, for you have not forsaken those who seek you.” (Psalm 9:10). All congregations pray for Israel and the November elections and on stage with the Washington Monument in the distance, Pastor Engle and other speakers pray for the many threats facing America, including crime, religious persecution, abortion, and the rise of LGBTQ advocacy.

Father God, we thank you for coming to the dedicated prayer site in National Square, Washington, D.C., and for the many Esthers, families, and Mordecais who have obeyed your call and have cried out with their longing, repentance, praise, and prayer. Above all, we repent on behalf of the current government’s culture and educational policies that distort the Word of God and lead the next generation into sin. We thank you for the Holy Spirit’s genuine power in our prayers for the next generation, allowing us to repent and repent. We believe He heard the voice of repentance coming from Washington D.C., the center of America, and changed the spiritual atmosphere of heaven as He saw the people seeking His face. May the prayers of these crying intercessors continually ascend to the throne of the Lord. In this lawless generation, people are killing the lives God gave them through abortion, and our children are shaken by their sexual identity, despair, and undergoing unnecessary sex reassignment surgeries. May the Holy Spirit work with the light of life in this dark world and bring about change. May the souls wandering in the darkness of sin come back to find the appearance of God's children. Please pity the American media that does not report on these prayer meetings, and pray that He will work to change how they report the truth and spread the fire of prayer for revival nationwide. May the fire of prayer for spiritual awakening, praise, and worship continue to live and move in the churches of America through the work of the Holy Spirit, and may America experience a new history of change. Only the Lord is King. May God's holy name be exalted through America.

Father God!

Craig Huey, author of “The Christian Voter,” said, “The secret weapon to victory in the 2024 presidential election is the church.” He said that the election results could have been changed if many evangelical voters in swing states such as Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Nevada had voted in 2020. With only three weeks left, we are encouraging more evangelicals to vote. Just as the church actively participated in prayer during American history, such as the independence and abolition movements, pastors and believers today should rise up with the church and join forces to pray and participate so that America can become a country headed toward the right path.

Father God, we pray that all evangelical Christian voters will participate in the election correctly and that those who fear and serve God will be raised. “For kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity.” (1 Timothy 2:2). Please pray with these words and vote correctly so that we may live a life of faith and peace while obeying the Word of God. Just as the pioneers of faith established the nation, spread the gospel, and shared God’s blessings with the nations, please let more Christians participate in correct voting and establish correct leaders to establish correct policies to develop the order of God’s creation. Please let correct elections be held so that policies that teach the wrong abortion and sexual identity of this generation can be restored and correct leaders can be established to protect this generation and the next generation.

Father God!

Pray for the November US presidential election. Mail-in voting and early voting are already underway in each state. Please ensure that all election procedures are conducted fairly and without fraud, cover the presidential and vice presidential candidates with the blood of Jesus, and protect them from assassination attempts. “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, like the rivers of water; he turns them wherever he pleases” (Prov. 21:1). Please require proper ID for elections in all states. Please pray that the 10 states that are putting abortion laws on the ballot will choose pro-life policies. Please elect all leaders who fear the Lord and value the truth of the Bible and life in the 7 swing states in the US. Please establish a president who will lead the US with the truth of the Bible and justice, as well as many senators, representatives, and state governors who will work with him. Please let the people have the proper discernment to judge and vote for the false propaganda that abortion is a personal freedom and reproductive right and that it is being used in elections. Please select those who fear and serve the Lord, and bless America so that it can become a country that pleases the Lord and is re-established as one that ultimately serves the Lord.

'Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. '

(Ephesians 6:11-13)

Father God, I (we) pray for South Korea.

1. Father God!

It has been confirmed that North Korea sent a telephone notification to the United Nations Command on the 9th, informing them that it will proceed with construction to completely cut off the land route between the South and the North. The North Korean General Staff announced in a press release that day, "Starting on the 9th, construction will begin to completely cut off the roads and railroads in our region connected to South Korea and fortify them with strong defensive structures." Since April, North Korea has been mobilizing many troops in the northern part of the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) to install presumed anti-tank obstacle barriers, plant landmines, install barbed wire, and work on wasteland. The Ministry of National Defense reported that "(North Korea) is continuing to plant landmines and install barriers in the DMZ." The North Korean General Staff's announcement of its intention to thoroughly block and seal the border with the South is interpreted as an extension of Kim Jong-un's "erasing unification."

Father God, We pray earnestly for the deepening disconnection between North and South Korea. The announcement of the severance of land routes between the South and the North is nothing more than a foolish act that further deepens military tensions and isolates oneself. Although the two nations have been divided for a long time and have walked different paths, please give the leaders of the South and the North the heart and wisdom to pursue reconciliation rather than division and to lead the situation of conflict and division to a place of dialogue and cooperation. There are too many gaps that have existed for a long time. There are many gaps, including economic, educational, and cultural gaps, the gap in religious beliefs due to the Juche ideology that has been in place for three generations of Kim Il-sung, Kim Jong-il, and Kim Jong-un, and the gap in political ideology that is difficult to overcome. “But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility.” (Ephesians 2:13-14) According to this verse, Jesus destroyed the hostility in his flesh, so please urge the fantastic and outstanding work of breaking down the gap and unifying through the gospel to be accomplished in this generation. Please work with the Holy Spirit so that the South and the North can become one through the gospel and be fully utilized as a nation that can fulfill the mission of one new person, God’s wish for us in the last days.

2. Father God!

Last year, the domestic suicide rate hit its highest level in nine years since 2014, and Korea's suicide rate is already the highest in the world compared to other countries, earning it the nickname of a "suicide republic." In particular, the suicide rate among teenagers is the highest since statistics were first compiled in 1983, and the suicide rate among those in their 60s and 50s is also increasing significantly. The government analyzed that the reason for the increase in the suicide rate is due to the aftereffects of COVID-19, such as social isolation and deepening economic difficulties, as well as the increasing tendency to view suicide as an option. It is said that as the awareness of suicide as a social problem spreads, the church also began to pay attention to suicide victims.

Father God, please have mercy on those who take their own dignified and precious lives because they do not adequately realize that God is the One who governs human life. First, as a called church and as those who have the gospel, we repent for our sins of not being able to serve them properly. Please forgive me for not teaching you how precious the life granted by God, the source of life, is, for not telling you how to overcome despair and suffering with faith, and for being indifferent to those around you who are suffering. “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are your works, my soul knows it very well.” [Psalm 139:13-14] Please help me realize that God is the one who created me, as this verse says, and for those who still despise life, are unable to overcome the temptation of suicide, and are still trying to choose death, may the Holy Spirit first seek them out and help them meet Yeshua, the living hope. Please give them new strength so that they can abandon their vain desires, find a new vision, and live with the courage and strength to boldly fight against the world. Please help the Republic of Korea shake off the stigma of being a “suicide republic. " Let those who have received new life from Yeshua rise from their respective positions and fully fulfill the mission of a new person who will build the kingdom of God while waiting for the Lord's return.

Father God!

We pray for the ministry planned and promoted by CWMI in 2024. 

Thank you for blessing the Korean Missionary Seminar held in Israel during the war from September 23 to 30, and for concluding it with grace. We are grateful to Pastor Kim In-sik, Mrs. Kim Woong-ja, Pastor Lee Seong-ja, Pastor Choi Ezra, and the missionaries who attended for seeing and learning the big picture of the Bible about Israel. May the Lord bless the hands and knees that served for this seminar, as well as all those who served on the ground.

Please bless the seminar “See the Big Picture of the Bible” to be held at Ebenezer Church in Korea on October 21st, send people of God to listen to the words, and pour out great grace.
