Prayer for the Restoration of Israel and Nations

Father God, we (I) pray for Israel.

Father God!

On the 431st day of the war, Hezbollah attacks on the Lebanese border decreased after a ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah. However, on December 9, an explosion occurred while Israeli soldiers were conducting an operation in a Hezbollah tunnel under a weapons depot, killing four soldiers. Israel continues its Gaza operation, as talks with Qatar have stalled due to the withdrawal of the Gaza Strip. In response, three Israeli soldiers from the Shaked Battalion of the Givati ​​Brigade were killed by Hamas anti-tank fire while boarding an armored IDF transport, and more than ten were wounded. The total number of soldiers killed since October 7 last year has increased to 813. The number of IDF soldiers killed since the start of the war last year has risen to 816. Of those, 384 have died since the army began ground operations in the area on October 27.

Father God, we thank You for protecting Israel in these difficult times of war and terrorism, and we declare that the battle belongs to You, Lord. We pray with the words of Psalm 59:

You are my strength, I watch for you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely. God will go before me and will let me gloat over those who slander me. But do not kill them, Lord our shield, or my people will forget. In your might uproot them and bring them down. For the sins of their mouths, for the words of their lips, let them be caught in their pride. For the curses and lies they utter, consume them in your wrath, consume them till they are no more. Then it will be known to the ends of the earth that God rules over Jacob. They return at evening, snarling like dogs, and prowl about the city. They wander about for food and howl if not satisfied. But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. Father God, although there has been a ceasefire, the people of northern Israel are still waiting to see what will happen after 60 days rather than returning home. We pray that the days of peace will come soon so everyone can live a stable life. Please let the UN resolution on the demilitarization of southern Lebanon be implemented. Please help the Lebanese politics to normalize so that there can be a complete restoration of relations between Israel and Lebanon, and help establish a border that will bring about true peace.

Father God, please quickly find the 101 hostages currently remaining in the Gaza Strip and open the way for them to return. Please comfort and strengthen the parents and families of the hostages, and comfort the parents of the young soldiers who gave their lives to protect their country and their families, and the families who lost their husbands and fathers. “Israel will be saved by the Lord with an everlasting salvation; you will never be put to shame or disgrace” (Isaiah 45:17). According to this word, let Israel return to the Lord God and become a people who receive salvation from Yeshua. Please protect the Israeli soldiers on the battlefield in the Gaza area and help the wounded to heal quickly. Also, please preserve and protect the citizens from Hamas agents who continue to commit terrorism within Israel. Please have mercy on the Gazans who have fled their homes and are living in pain under the evil Hamas, and eliminate Hamas. “For you are holy, enthroned in the praises of Israel” (Psalm 22:3). We praise the holy God of Israel.

In the early hours of December 10, the Israeli Air Force attacked the Qamishli air base in northeastern Syria, the Sinshah air base in the countryside of Homs, and the Akrba airport southwest of the capital Damascus. The strikes targeted advanced weapons storage facilities, including air defense systems and surface-to-surface and surface-to-air missiles. They said ground forces would remain "limited" on the Syrian border. Israel said that although Iran's influence in Syria has collapsed since the ouster of former Syrian President al-Assad, there is a risk of advances by various rebel groups rooted in al-Qaeda's Islamic ideology. Father God, the Syrian rebels have invaded and taken over Damascus, causing the Assad regime in Syria, which was under Iran’s sphere of influence, to collapse, and Assad has fled to Russia. In response, Israel is attacking key dangerous military bases in Syria, expanding its borders on Mount Hermon, and monitoring the activities of the Syrian rebels. They are supporting Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthi terrorist group in Yemen, and Iraq, and Syri while threatening to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. Please pray that Iran’s activities attacking Israel will leave Syria and that the relationship with Hezbollah and Hamas will be cut off. As you promised Abraham, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you” (Gen. 12:3). As this Word says, please break the power of Iran that curses and attacks Israel, and make Israel a blessing, and let the nations that stand with Israel receive God’s blessings because of Israel. Please let Christians in history know the Word correctly, realize the wrongdoings of the Israelites, repent, comfort the wounded Israelites, help Israel, bless it, and pray for it.

All the idols that defiled Israel and the temple of Jerusalem are destroyed in the name of Yeshua. All the evil deeds of the pagans in the Valley of the Hinnom and the foreign gods in the Valley of Kidron are confronted in the name of Yeshua and are consumed by the fire of the Holy Spirit. We declare that Jerusalem is covered with the blood of Yeshua and purified in the mighty name of Yeshua. The altar of Abraham on Mount Moriah will be restored. The altar of the burnt offering on the threshing floor of Araunah of David will be erected. Give us peace in Jerusalem, Lord God, establish Jerusalem and be praised. Father God, the Syrian rebels have taken over the Syrian capital, Damascus, and Syrian President Assad has fled to Russia. The 10-year civil war that has continued since 2011 has brought the capital under their control again due to the rebels’ attacks. Please have mercy on the Syrians who have suffered as a result of the past civil war, who have become refugees and have left Syria for neighboring countries and Europe. “By the blessing of the upright a city is exalted, but by the mouth of the wicked it is overthrown.” (Prov. 11:11) According to this verse, above all, please help Syria establish an upright national leader for the people, not the evil forces of the Islamic State (ISIS), and help it become a stable country. In particular, please protect the safety of all churches and families in Syria, give courage to church leaders, and help the believers overcome the fear of war with faith.

On December 1, US President Biden announced that he would not pardon or commute the sentence of his son, who was convicted of gun crimes and tax evasion, but he suddenly pardoned his son Hunter. This pardon applies not only to Hunter Biden’s gun and tax crimes but also to other “crimes against the United States” that he may have committed or participated in since 2014, as well as to corruption cases involving President Biden, starting with Hunter Biden’s employment as a director at a Ukrainian energy company in the Ukraine scandal. Evidence of this was found on a computer he had left for repairs in 2020 and never picked up. The FBI recovered the laptop but did not investigate it. This pardon was granted under President Biden’s pardon power before the new Trump administration took office.

Father God, as the next Trump administration selects the right people to root out corruption, many forces, including the media, are raising concerns and opposing criticism about President Biden’s pardon. Thank you for establishing a new administration that will restore biblical values ​​to American economic policy, which follows abnormal social Marxism distorted from American free-market monetary policy. “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12).” As this verse says, please primarily through the new administration that has come into power, so that the corruption and hidden things of the past will be revealed to the light, and so that the truth of all dishonesty will be revealed so that the United States will become a country that exerts a good influence on many nations. At this time, we first lay before You the sins of the Korean church and its believers who failed to stand firm in the Word of God and were swept away by worldly trends. Please wake up the entire church, all pastors, and all believers, kneel in prayer, and change your hearts. Let us tear ourselves apart, go before God, and cry out. “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14). Manipulated content and fake information are spreading, throwing society into chaos. Individual safety is not guaranteed, and the trend of antagonism and distrust is driving people to not trust each other. “Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that you may be able to stand your ground on the evil day, and after you have done everything, to stand. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit. To this end, be alert and pray for all the saints.” (Ephesians 6:13, 17-18) Like this verse, please let us take on the whole armor of God, have the word of God, and always be alert and pray.
