Prayer for the Restoration of Israel and Nations

'Save me, O God, by your name; vindicate me by your might. Hear my prayer, O God; listen to the words of my mouth. Arrogant foes are attacking me; ruthless people are trying to kill me— people without regard for God. Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me. '

Father God, we (I) pray for Israel.

Father God!

# On December 30, Hamas refused to release 34 living hostages in the first stage of ongoing negotiations, instead offering only the bodies of 12 kidnapped victims who were killed. It is reported that Hamas increased the number of security prisoners. According to the Jerusalem Post, one of the reasons for the delay in the hostage negotiations was that Hamas failed to provide a list of living hostages.

# On December 30, the IDF killed dozens of Hamas members in Jabalia, northern Gaza. It announced that 23-year-old Sergeant Yuriel Peretz from Bethar Ilit was dead, and three soldiers were seriously injured in the battle of Beit Hanoun.

Father God, please open the way for negotiations to be held quickly for the 100 hostages who remain in Gaza. Please help the Hamas terrorists who are delaying the hostage negotiations to be eliminated and the hostages to be found and returned. Please comfort and strengthen the parents and families who are waiting and in deep pain. Please comfort the parents of the young soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect their country and their families and the families who lost their husbands and fathers. “Woe to the Cherethites, the inhabitants of the coast! The word of the LORD is against you, O Canaan, the land of the Philistines… The territory will be returned to the remnant of the house of Judah. ​​There, they will pasture their flocks, and in the houses of Ashkelon, they will lie down in the evening. For the LORD their God will look upon them and turn their captivity” (Zeph 2:5,7). We pray that the former Israeli settlements in the Gaza Strip will be restored and that the Jews who were forcibly exiled from the area will return. Please protect the Israeli soldiers on the battlefield in the Gaza Strip and help the wounded to heal quickly. Please have mercy on the Gazans who are living in pain, displaced from their homes by war, under the evil Hamas, and promptly eliminate Hamas. Let the gospel of Yeshua's salvation be proclaimed in Israel and Gaza, and let the Israelis and Arabs return to Jehovah God and become the people who receive Yeshua's salvation.

On the night of December 30, the IDF intercepted a missile launched from Yemen before it entered Israeli territory, causing sirens to sound throughout central Israel and civilians who were sleeping to take refuge in bunkers. An 18-year-old girl and several others who were taking refuge in bunkers were slightly injured, and several others were treated for panic attacks. Fragments of a ballistic missile were found in Beit Shemesh, and the Israeli military has bombed key Houthi bases in Yemen, along with the US and UK.

Father God, we thank you for the many injuries sustained while fleeing the Houthi missile and rocket attacks in Yemen, but no casualties. Please protect Israel’s defense interception systems from cyberattacks and protect them from all attacks. The Israeli military, along with the US and UK, is bombing key Houthi bases in Yemen. Please destroy all the military facilities of the terrorist group Houthi through the right strategy and attack, and cut off Iran's evil schemes and weapons supply in Yemen. "Surely you have delivered me from all troubles; my eyes have seen the retribution of my enemies." (Psalm 54:7). Thank you for protecting Israel from all troubles according to David's prayer and showing that you are repaying Hamas, Hezbollah, and Houthi rebels, including Iran, who are attacking Israel.

Father God!

All the idols that defiled Israel and the temple of Jerusalem are destroyed in the name of Yeshua. All the evil deeds of the pagans in the Valley of the Hinnom and the foreign gods in the Valley of Kidron are confronted in the name of Yeshua and are consumed by the fire of the Holy Spirit. We declare that Jerusalem is covered with the blood of Yeshua and purified in the mighty name of Yeshua. The altar of Abraham on Mount Moriah will be restored. The altar of the burnt offering on the threshing floor of Araunah of David will be erected. The temple that Solomon established to proclaim peace will be established as a house of prayer for all peoples, and worship will be restored! Glory be to the holy Jehovah God alone. We declare that the complete restoration of Jerusalem will be accomplished in the name of the Messiah Yeshua, who will come again!

Rhoda Jatau, a mother of five, shared a video on social media denouncing the killing and burning of Yakubu, a Christian university student in Sokoto, by a mob on May 12, 2022. Angered by this, Warji Muslims attacked members of her church, Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), and Jatau was arrested on charges of blasphemy and jailed for 19 months. Jatau was released on bail in December 2023 and has lived in a secret location while her trial continues. She recently declared her complete innocence. Sean Nelson, legal counsel for ADF International, said, “We thank God for Rhoda’s complete acquittal and the end to the ordeal she has endured for so long.

Father God, in Nigeria, a country of 200 million people, about 40% Christian and 50% Muslim, Muslim blasphemy laws punish innocent people for expressing their faith and silence people from sharing their faith. They also incite social violence and cause serious harm to minority Muslims, Christian converts, and others. In this context, we thank God that Rhoda, who shared the video of the Christian sister’s martyrdom at the stake and endured two and a half years of ordeal, including 19 months in prison, has finally been acquitted. “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; the God of my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and to him who is my refuge and my savior; he has saved me from violence… I called upon the Lord and cried out to my God in my distress. He heard my voice from his temple, and my cry came into his ears. (2 Sam 22:2-3, 7) Thank you for hearing the prayers of Christian organizations and believers and saving Sister Rhoda, who was living amid persecution. We are also thankful for the hard work of Christian lawyers internationally in this situation. Please have mercy on and protect the Christians in Nigeria who are unjustly imprisoned and suffering under harsh blasphemy laws while they are defending their Christian faith in Yeshua.

Father God!

Father God, please let the Syrian rebels who have taken control of Syria follow the justice that they have set for the Syrian people and practice. Please help the Syrian people who have been suffering to practice justice and for the leaders and people to build the country together and make it a stable government. In particular, please protect the safety of all churches and families in Syria, give courage to church leaders, and help the believers overcome the fear of war with faith.

On December 15, the Washington Times, which has consistently supported the administration of puberty blockers and sex hormones to minors and the surgical removal of healthy genitalia, took a stance against the US policy of reassigning minors. In the editorial, the newspaper called for more robust scientific research on the health effects of puberty blockers and sex hormones on children rather than unconditionally supporting treatment for minors who are experiencing gender dysphoria and want to change their sex. The columnists reported that European health officials in the UK, Norway, and Sweden pointed out that there was insufficient evidence to show the procedure's health benefits and that they were withdrawing it after detailed data such as the Cass report emerged. On December 11, the UK banned the use of puberty blockers as a treatment for minors with gender dysphoria.

Father God, we thank you for changing the anti-biblical tone of the mainstream media in the United States to regain public trust and question the policy of transitioning minors. The editorialists cited Dr. Johanna Olson-Kennedy’s refusal to publish the results of a nine-year, $9.7 million, taxpayer-funded study commissioned by the International Association of Transgender Health Professionals by a research team at Johns Hopkins University. They said that the study that showed no benefits of transgender procedures was being hindered. We repent for the indiscriminate use of puberty blockers and sex hormones by minors who are confused about their gender identity without realizing that the problem is inside them, and we thank you for now moving the world in the right direction to protect children. Please stop all attempts to create a new gender that is the opposite of their biological sex. “So God created man in his image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; be fruitful and multiply.’” (Genesis 1:27-28a) Following this word, may the United States become a country that educates its youth on a clear sexual identity, and may the current government and media in the United States, which have been strongly propagating and leading the United States into sexual identity confusion, disappear, and may education be established that follows the order of God’s creation.

President-elect Trump’s new administration nominated pro-life lawyer Harmit Dhillon as the Justice Department’s civil rights administrator in early December. This is welcome news for pro-life advocates, as anti-abortion activists have been indicted and sentenced to federal prison under the Freedom of Access to Hospitals Act (FACE) by the Biden administration over the past several years. Assistant Attorney General Clark indicted Handy and nine other pro-life activists in August 2023 for conspiracy to obstruct civil rights and violations of the FACE Act after singing and praying in front of an abortion facility in October 2020 and protesting in front of the staff entrance to “delay the killing of children.” They were sentenced to 57 months or 5 years in prison and 3 years of probation and are now in federal court, where they face a maximum sentence of 10 years.

Father God, thank you for allowing the Civil Rights Division to be in charge of the Justice Department, which believes in the life of the unborn. Attorney Dylan defended undercover journalist David Dereidan, who exposed the horrific practice of selling aborted baby body parts. We are grateful for the work he does for pro-life, including fighting for countless minors who have been forced into gender reassignment treatment without being given adequate information about better treatment options, and for Chloe Cole, a prime example. We pray that Dylan’s nomination as the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Coordinator will lead to the release of pro-life advocates currently in prison. “Children are a heritage from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is a reward.” (Psalm 127:3). Following this word, please make America a country that protects the life of the fetus and let the sin of shedding innocent blood through abortion disappear from this land. Please let the church and parents pray with the Lord’s sorrowful heart toward the fetuses that are dying and abandoned. Please listen to the prayers of the church and parents for the life that God gives, and let the sin of abortion end in this land. We pray that the next young generation will realize the preciousness of life, cherish their families, and live a life of righteous faith. Regarding the Muan Airport passenger plane disaster that occurred on the morning of December 29, the National Fire Agency announced through an emergency briefing in the afternoon that 179 of the 181 passengers on board Jeju Air Flight 7C2216 died, and two were injured.

Father God, an unexpected passenger plane disaster occurred at the end of 2024. One hundred seventy-nine precious lives were lost in the Muan Airport plane accident. We place the bereaved families in God's hands who are in great sorrow and pain that cannot be expressed in words. “Blessed be the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we may be able to comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we receive from God” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4) As this verse says, may God Himself become the Comforter and comfort the many mentally and physically suffering from this accident. In particular, may He deeply comfort the bereaved families in despair and sorrow due to the unexpected accident. May He give the family and friends who have suffered the loss the strength, courage, and peace to overcome this difficulty. May the churches and believers who have faith not only pray for ways to join in their pain but also grant them the wisdom to help them specifically. Many difficulties need to be resolved and dealt with after the accident. Please let the government and the National Assembly work together to resolve the situation for those suffering more quickly than anything else. Please prevent this incident from being exploited politically. Let us investigate the cause of the accident, review safety regulations, and establish systematic measures to prevent accidents from happening again.

Father God, let us fully realize the lesson you are teaching us through this accident. Let us live as those who prepare the way for the Lord’s coming in these last days, cherishing our time, spreading the gospel whether the time is right or not, and fulfilling the mission of a new person.

Father God!

A bill that defines the distortion of evidence and abuse of power by investigative agencies as “crimes against human rights” and excludes the statute of limitations and the statute of limitations for claims for damages passed the National Assembly plenary session led by the opposition party on December 31. The ruling party and the legal community raised concerns that it could put excessive pressure on investigative agencies such as the prosecution. Father God, please have mercy on the Republic of Korea, which is in a precarious situation. Lord, please directly rule over those constantly committing seemingly endless evil deeds. Please consider the behavior of an individual who ignores the laws already established, creates a false law to cover up his various crimes, and uses his majority to take arbitrary measures. Please directly rule over the injustice of those who are constantly impeaching and colluding with pro-North Korean leftist forces and joining hands with pro-China forces to achieve their own goals and shake the foundation of the country. “A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not quench. He will faithfully bring forth justice. He will not fail nor be discouraged until he establishes justice in the earth; and the islands will wait for his law” (Isaiah 42:3-4) We pray, holding firmly to the words of the living God. Please let the Republic of Korea become a Christian nation used by God, a missionary nation, an advanced country, an anti-communist liberal democratic government, a market economy, and the South and Nortunification through the gospel. We have a desire to be blessed with pro-Israel policies and to be used as a nation that makes Israel jealous. However, we pray with regret as I see the nation sinking deeper and deeper into darkness. As we head toward extreme polarization, people are exposed to fake news, press, broadcasts, and media daily, more significant divisions are fostered, and fights continue. Please pour a sincere heart into the government and leaders to work for this nation and its people. Please stop them from using personal and partisan interests to manipulate the people. “For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayers, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” (1 Peter 3:12). We believe that God’s eyes are clearly upon the righteous. Also, God said that he listens to the prayers of the righteous, so please let the Korean churches rise in the new year, run to the place of worship, and kneel in prayer with their hearts torn. Please let the Republic of Korea be reborn as a nation that God used.
