Prayer for the Restoration of Israel and Nations

Father God, we (I) pray for Israel.

Father God!

# On January 13, the 465th day of the war, the IDF, which was fighting Hamas in northern Gaza, lost five soldiers from the Nahal Brigade Reconnaissance Battalion, and eight were injured. To the families of the soldiers who died, Prime Minister Netanyahu said, "They gave their lives for the security of our country, and the entire Israeli people embrace you and your families in pain." He comforted them with condolences and prayed for the speedy recovery of the other injured soldiers.

# On January 13, there were reports that Hamas had agreed to hostage negotiations and a ceasefire. Still, there has been no final answer yet, and the Israeli military said that it would not completely withdraw from Gaza until all the hostages were released. 

Father God, since the war began in October 2023, 840 soldiers have been killed, countless soldiers and civilians have been injured, and 99 remain in Gaza. The Prime Minister and all of Israel are comforting the families with a message of condolence: “The pain, the immense loss, the families whose worlds have fallen apart, the smiles that have been lost and will never return.” “Heroes of Israel. The salt of the earth. My heart is with the families and friends of the Nahal Brigade.”

Father God, while negotiating for the release of 34 of the hostages, Hamas is delaying the negotiations, demanding only more concessions from Israel. Please hurry and help the hostage negotiations to be concluded so that the hostages can be returned and all the hostages can be found and returned. “Hear my cry, O God; preserve my life from the fear of the enemy. Hide me from the plots of the wicked; hide me from the tumult of the evildoers.” (Psalm 64:1,2) Please listen to the prayers of the hostages as they cry out to you in their difficult circumstances. Please comfort and strengthen the parents and families who are in deep pain while waiting for them. Please comfort the parents of the young soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect their country and their families and the families who lost their husbands and fathers. Please eliminate the terrorists and pray that the lands of Gaza, which were former Israeli settlements, will be restored as lands of peace and that the Jews who were forcibly expelled from there will return. Please protect the Israeli soldiers on the battlefield in Gaza and help the wounded to be healed quickly. Primarily through the soldiers who believe in Yeshua, may the light of Yeshua’s life shine as the light of the north in the unit, and may history occur where they are protected and saved. Please have mercy on the Gazans who have left their homes due to war and are living in pain under the evil Hamas, and please eliminate Hamas quickly.

#January 14th, when the IAF intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, sirens sounded throughout Tel Aviv, central Jerusalem, and several areas in the West Bank, delaying the landing at Ben Gurion Airport. The missile's central fragments fell on the roofs of civilian houses near Jerusalem. Additional pieces fell in the surrounding areas, injuring 11 people who were heading to air defense shelters, and four were treated for anxiety.

Father God, while the Israeli military, together with the US and UK, is attacking major Houthi bases in Yemen, the Houthi rebels are firing rockets toward Israel. Please destroy all the military facilities of the terrorist group Houthi through the right strategy and attack, and just as Iran's evil schemes and weapons supply that used Hamas and Hezbollah as bases in Syria to attack Israel were cut off, please cut off all the evils of Iran in Yemen. "Surely you have delivered me from all troubles, and have let my eyes see the retribution of my enemies." (Psalm 54:7). Thank you for protecting Israel from all troubles according to David's prayer and showing that you are repaying Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthi rebels, including Iran, who are attacking Israel. Please let the gospel of Yeshua's salvation be proclaimed in Israel, Gaza, and the Middle East, and let the Israelis and Arabs return to Jehovah God and become the people who receive Yeshua's salvation.

All the idols that defiled Israel and the temple of Jerusalem are destroyed in the name of Yeshua. All the evil deeds of the pagans in the Valley of the Hinnom and the foreign gods in the Valley of Kidron are confronted in the name of Yeshua and are consumed by the fire of the Holy Spirit. We declare that Jerusalem is purified by the mighty name of Yeshua, covering it with the blood of Yeshua. The altar of Abraham on Mount Moriah will be restored. The altar of the burnt offering on the threshing floor of Araunah of David will be erected, and the Tabernacle of David will be fully established. The temple established through Solomon, proclaiming peace, will be established as a house of prayer for all peoples, and worship will be restored! For Jerusalem to be prepared to welcome the Messiah Yeshua, who is coming again, “For Zion’s sake, I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest until her righteousness shines forth like the brightness, and her salvation like a burning torch” (Isaiah 62:1). We praise the Lord God who is working tirelessly for the glory of Jerusalem. Glory be to the holy Lord God alone. We proclaim that the complete restoration of Jerusalem will be accomplished in the name of the Messiah Yeshua, who is coming again!

Father God!

On January 9, military leader Joseph Aoun was elected in the Lebanese presidential election that had been vacant for over two years. The Lebanese presidency is institutionally a Maronite Christian president, and the term of office is six years. The new president, Aoun, appointed Major General Salam, who has served as Lebanon's ambassador to the UN since 2007 and has been an ICJ judge since 2018, as the new prime minister and entrusted him with forming a cabinet. President Aoun also said that the Lebanese military would reestablish control of southern Lebanon, which Hezbollah controlled, and transport and manage the numerous weapons of Hezbollah that were imported from Iran in the south and stored there.

Father God, we thank you for electing Joseph Aoun president, appointing a new prime minister, and forming a cabinet in Lebanon, which had been vacant for the past two years. We especially pray for President Aoun, a Christian, and Lebanon's Christians. “The Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord gives grace and glory; no good thing will he withhold from those who walk uprightly. Blessed is the man who trusts in you, O Lord of hosts!” (Psalm 84:11-12). According to this verse, may the Christian president and church members pray and grant the Lord’s grace so that the previous history of Christian evangelism can be realized in Lebanon again. May the wounds from the war be healed, and may the comfort and peace that the Lord gives pour good things through the work of the Holy Spirit. May the new government of Lebanon be fully established so that it can escape from the influence of Iran and Hezbollah and regain its rights as a nation. In particular, may all of Hezbollah’s attempts to invade Israel on the southern border be removed,d and may the Lord’s peace be established on the border. We pray that the border between Egypt, Jordan, and Israel is open, that people can come and go, and that Lebanon and Israel can become a peaceful country with diplomatic relations.

# On January 7, the Taiwan CDC reported that 492 cardiac arrest patients occurred due to the sub-zero temperatures caused by the cold wave from the Arctic reaching Taiwan, a subtropical region. The influenza virus is type A (H1N1), and the number of patients has increased to 127,357, and the number of deaths has increased to 91 in a short period.

# The influenza ‘quad demic’ (a combination of four viruses, including RSV, HMPV, AH1N1, and AHIN2) occurring in China is spreading rapidly. This is causing a rapid spread of infections and a surge in influenza patients, and emergency influenza measures are being established around the world due to respiratory infectious diseases.

# The cold wave and heavy snow are Arctic climate abnormalities. Since the beginning of the new year, the central and eastern United States have experienced a record 35cm of snow in 10 years, paralyzing highways, railways, and flights and causing hundreds of car accidents. Some states, including Kansas and Virginia, have declared states of emergency. In Europe, too, due to heavy snowfall, flights have been canceled at major airports in England, Germany, and the Czech Republic, and flood warnings have been issued in southern England.

Father God, there are difficulties in health and life due to climate change and the winter cold wave. “There will be great earthquakes, famines, and pestilences in various places, and there will be fearful events and great signs from heaven” (Luke 21:11). As this verse says, all phenomena, such as last week's earthquake in Tibet and the earthquakes in Japan and Peru, are occurring. The signs of the times are being revealed. Please let all the people of this age realize that God governs and rules over the universe and all things in the world, including famines, earthquakes, pestilences, abnormal weather, and fires in various places. Through climate and disasters that cannot be controlled by human power, let us come before God, the ruler and master of all things in the universe, and be humble before God, the master of life. We realize that all these phenomena are the beginning of disasters and that the time of the Lord's coming is near. Let us see these things and repent, come to our senses, and become awake and sober people. Let us yearn for the kingdom of God of peace and justice ruled by the Lord, who rules and governs the universe. Let us prepare the way for the Lord's coming, stay awake and pray, look only to the perfect Lord, and live the life of a saint of words and prayer.

Due to drought and strong winds, the Los Angeles Fires in California began on Tuesday, January 7, spreading through several areas, including the Palisades area, Malibu Beach, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Pasadena, and Ventura County. More than 12,000 homes have burned, 24 people have died, and about 190,000 residents are evacuated. Over 36,000 acres, an area larger than San Francisco, have burned, and the fires are said to have caused the most significant loss of property in U.S. history, worth $250 billion. Hollywood, in particular, is a place where corruption, depravity, and spiritual pollution are rampant in the production of movies. On January 6, the day before the fire, the Hollywood Golden Globe Awards blasphemed and ignored God, the Creator.

Father God, amid the difficulties of the fires in the Los Angeles area, we thank you for the intercessors and churches praying even more and for the people to unite to help the victims. Especially in Hollywood, the center of movie images, we repent for the sins of opposing God and turning away from God’s goodness and producing and popularizing videos that center on the world’s sins, “How long, O men, will you change my glory into shame, loving vain things and seeking lies?” (Psalm 4:2) Please challenge us with these words that cry out, repent for the sins of worldly wealth and pleasure, come to God, and let a history of obedience to God’s truth arise. Please let America, seeing these disasters, realize God’s judgment and the burning hell, and kneel before the Lord and come forward. We earnestly pray that America will not become a country that spreads abortion, homosexuality, drugs, and gender ideology to the world but a country that spreads the gospel and can lead the world in the right direction with the truth of the Bible.

In early January, college football players praised Jesus after the game, and during the Super Bowl, several players shared the gospel with viewers watching the game. It is spreading increasingly, and players from various teams confess their faith in God.

Father God, “Give the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering, come before him; worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness” (1 Chronicles 16:29). As this verse says, I thank the Lord for the glory we receive through these players’ testimonies and sharing the gospel.

# Boise State Broncos defensive back Ahmed Hassanein gave a concise gospel after his team’s loss to Penn State University, saying, “Jesus Christ is the only true God, who died and rose again three days later.” “He is the champion I serve.” He also told his coach, Deion Barnes, “Coach, you have changed my life. “I didn’t know God until I came to Boise State,” he confessed.

# Ohio State quarterback Will Howard also said after the Rose Bowl victory, “First of all, I thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for allowing me to stand here in the Rose Bowl.” Howard was baptized after a large revival meeting on campus with members of the Ohio State football team.

# Notre Dame quarterback Riley Leonard also said in an interview with ESPN after the team’s victory in the Sugar Bowl, “First of all, I thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Without him, I wouldn’t be here, and our team wouldn’t be here. I’m so grateful for this opportunity.”

# Texas Longhorns running back Nick Sanders asked running back Cam Scatovo after the loss to Arizona State, “Can I pray for you?” the two young men knelt together and prayed.

Father God, we thank you for the many athletes who use their platforms to glorify you and for their positions at the pinnacle of publicity to evangelize. Please let the young people of America be saved through campus evangelistic meetings, and let many athletes use their platforms to glorify you. Let the gospel be spread more and the work of salvation be done through their testimonies, changed lives, actions, and words. Please let the next generation of young people rise as messengers of the light of the gospel life in each team and allow the Holy Spirit to work so that new changes continue to occur.

Father God, I (we) pray for South Korea.

The Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO) arrested President Yoon Seok-yeol on the 15th. About 5 hours and 20 minutes after starting to execute the arrest warrant for President Yoon, the Joint Investigation Headquarters, consisting of the CIO and the police, announced that they executed the warrant at 10:33 AM that day. As the president who must protect the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Korea, responding to such an illegal and invalid procedure is not acknowledging it, but conveying his heart to prevent an unpleasant bloodshed for the people due to the president.

Father God, thank you for opening the eyes of many citizens and making them understand the value of liberal democracy through President Yoon Seok-yeol’s declaration of martial law. We especially thank you for opening the eyes of the youth in their teens and the younger generation in their 20s and 30s to what pro-North Korean leftist forces are and what totalitarianism is. They are a generation that has never experienced Japanese colonial rule or the Korean War, and they are a generation that does not know the brutality of communism at all. Still, through this president's martial law tool, they can discern what they must fight against and stand tall. We believe that God is reorganizing our Republic of Korea through this entire process to use it in these last days. Please grant us great grace so that the whole country, all churches, and all believers can become people who are in line with God’s heart and pass through this process well. Rather than judging from the perspective of different ideologies, thoughts, and human rights, please let this be an opportunity for us to open our spiritual eyes wide and see the proper plan that God wants to accomplish. Even now, the majority opposition party and Lee Jae-myung are only committing all kinds of illegal acts for their selfish interests and to seize power, creating a lawless and anarchic state throughout the country. Please discipline God severely those who are only focused on making the president a criminal and impeaching him, hiding their sins, and seizing power. Ultimately, the Public Prosecutor's Office arrested and investigated the president. Many citizens supported the president and prayed for him, but the process went through in a way we did not want. Please do not let the president or the citizens be disappointed. Instead, ask God's will more and receive the help of the Holy Spirit so that they can unite and pray together. Please open the citizens' eyes to see the true nature of the pro-North Korea leftist forces and pro-China forces through this incident. "I will not fear, even though ten thousand people surround me. Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God. You have struck all my enemies on the cheek and broken the wicked's teeth. Salvation belongs to the LORD; let your blessing be upon your people." (Psalm 3:6-8) Please arise, God, and rule over those who commit these deplorable acts of lawlessness, lawlessness, lawlessness. Hosted by the Light of the World Mission Society (Representative Pastor Choi Kwang), which has been dedicated to North Korean defector ministry and North Korean missions for 30 years, the speakers at this gathering emphasized that “the evangelization of North Korea is not a superficial change, but is accomplished through the Word of God and the Holy Spirit.” The participating defectors repented that they had abandoned the idol of the ‘Kim Il-sung’s 3-generation hereditary dictatorship’ but were serving another idol in South Korea, and pledged to carry out the history of salvation with pure faith.

Heavenly Father, thank you for allowing those who defected from North Korea in search of freedom and came to South Korea to meet God and Korean believers to gather in one place and pray. Please bless the annual gathering that prays for the unification of the North and South, remembering the Pyongyang Great Revival of 1907. Since COVID-19, barbed wire and landmines have been installed at every border, further restricting escape routes from North Korea to China, making it even more challenging to defect, but North Korean residents still long for freedom and dream of defecting. We pray that their earnest prayers, as they share the increasingly hopeless internal situation in North Korea and the dire reality of the young men dispatched to Russia, will reach God. Thousands of North Korean youths are being dragged to the Russian battlefields and losing their lives, but they do not even know why they are dying and are brainwashed by the North Korean regime to sacrifice their lives for Kim Jong-un. Kim Jong-un is still trying to erase unification rather than achieve unification and is continuously carrying out endless provocations without regard for means and methods to destroy South Korea. Recently, it has been reported that a short-range ballistic missile was launched from the Kanggye area of ​​Chagang Province, North Korea, into the East Sea. “But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that he may create one new man out of the two, thus making peace.” (Ephesians 2:13-15) May God protect this country and its people and allow unification. May the Almighty God personally work so that the South and the North may become one in Yeshua and become a nation used to saving God’s own people, Israel.

We pray for the Wednesday All Nations Prayer Meeting, held online every week. Thank you for blessing the Nations Prayer Meeting, which has been working diligently every week. Bless the ICC Church and the Virginia House of Prayer for the Nations (VHOP). Thank you for allowing us to make the recent 'Prayer Video' to pray for the fulfillment of the Bible and the video to convey "God's Time and Israel". Many videos that can be used as data to inform Israel are spread so people can discern the time of this era and pray with the Bible in their closets.
