Prayer for the Restoration of Israel and Nations

'Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the Lord ’s hand double for all her sins. A voice of one calling: “In the wilderness prepare the way for the Lord ; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. '

Father God, we (I) pray for Israel.

Father God!

# Hamas launched a massive attack on October 7 that killed over 1,200 Israelis and foreigners, and of the approximately 240 hostages, 133 have since returned. There are currently 97 hostages in Gaza, and according to the IDF, a total of 49 hostages have died while in captivity. It said that 33 people are expected to be released during the 42-day ceasefire that began on January 17. Hostages, three civilians, and four soldiers were released through the deal that Egypt and Qatar started two weeks ago. On Thursday, civilian hostages Arbel Yehud, soldier Agam Berger, an unnamed civilian male hostage, and six others are expected to return to Israel.

# As part of the deal, Israel has allowed the return of Gazans to northern Gaza, and 735 Hamas terrorists are expected to be released. The Israel-Lebanon ceasefire has been extended until February 18.

Father God, We thank you for the return of 33 of the 99 hostages scheduled to be released under this ceasefire agreement, including the first three who returned, followed by the return of four female soldiers and the return of six more. Please help the negotiations for the remaining 66 hostages to continue smoothly and for them to return. “Hear my prayer, O Lord; let my cry come to you. Do not hide your face from me on the day of my trouble. Incline your ear to me; answer me quickly on the day when I call. My days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned like charcoal.” (Psalm 102:1-3) Please comfort and strengthen the families, friends, and relatives of the remaining hostages who are waiting with anxious hearts and prayers. Please comfort the parents of the young soldiers who gave their lives to protect their country and their families and the families who lost their husbands and fathers. Please comfort the parents and families who lost their children due to the war and heal the many soldiers who were injured quickly. Please help with the restoration and construction of houses for the northern residents of Israel and the citizens of many villages around the Gaza Strip in the south who have not yet been able to return to their homes that were destroyed and collapsed by the war or that the day when their lives become stable will come soon.

Currently, the Israel Defense Forces are advancing in Jenin, the center of terrorist weapons and funding in the West Bank, according to the plan to evacuate civilians under the ‘Iron Wall’ operation, and have blown up terrorist hideouts, weapons storage facilities, and explosives manufacturing plants. They also said that they eliminated a Hamas commander and about 20 Hamas operatives. After Israel's independence, the Israeli government said, "If a foreigner lives with you in your land, you shall not mistreat him. The foreigner who lives with you shall be to you as the native among you; you shall love him as yourself, for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God." (Lev. 19:33-34) According to this word, they wanted to live in the land God gave them with the Arabs and settled in the small Tel Aviv area, but they won each time and took over the land due to the invasion wars of the Arab coalition forces. Even today, Israel recognizes the West Bank as an Arab autonomous state. It wants to live with all the foreigners and Arabs living in the land of Israel, but among the Arabs, Hamas continues to cause terrorism and war in Israel, destroying the peace and causing pain to each other. Please expose and remove their hidden evil deeds and planned terrorist operations, rule over them, remove their weapons of war, and help us bring days of peace.

On January 27, 2025, the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland, where Nazi Germany committed mass murder of Jews during World War II, by the Soviet Union on January 27, 1945, was designated by the United Nations as the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. World leaders, including German Chancellor Scholz, French President Macron, Ukrainian President Zelensky, U.S. Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve, UNESCO Director-General Azoulay, and Israeli Education Minister Yoav Kish attended the site where 1 million Jews were sacrificed, and Auschwitz survivors gave speeches. On the same day, German Chancellor Scholz visited a Jewish community center and said, "It is still important to remember the evil deeds of the past." "This is a matter of informing the present and creating the future," he said, and Polish President Andrzej emphasized during his visit to the camp that "Polish people are standing on this land where the Germans built concentration camps and keeping the memory."

Father God, in history, there were testimonies of Holocaust survivors in the presence of heads of state from each country at the German Jewish concentration camps. Anti-Semitism is spreading, but I thank you for letting the world know the pain and sorrow of Israel's history through these Holocaust memorials and testimonies. We pray that you comfort the living Holocaust survivors as they go through these difficult times and heal and bind up the pain and wounds in their memories. Please let the countries and people who are still perpetuating anti-Semitism and distorting history today know the correct Jewish history through the elderly Holocaust survivors and their descendants as 80 years have passed. We thank you for revealing God's Word regarding Israel and letting the world know and testify about the living God. We praise God, who has been working for the holy name of God throughout history, and proclaim the words of Ezekiel 36:22-31. 

'“Therefore say to the Israelites, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: It is not for your sake, people of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you have gone. I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord , declares the Sovereign Lord , when I am proved holy through you before their eyes. “ ‘For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land. I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. Then you will live in the land I gave your ancestors; you will be my people, and I will be your God. I will save you from all your uncleanness. I will call for the grain and make it plentiful and will not bring famine upon you. I will increase the fruit of the trees and the crops of the field, so that you will no longer suffer disgrace among the nations because of famine. Then you will remember your evil ways and wicked deeds, and you will loathe yourselves for your sins and detestable practices. '

Lord, please restore the land of Israel according to your promise, save them from suffering, and wash them with clean water. Also, pour out your Holy Spirit, so they realize and believe in Messiah Yeshua and become God's people who serve God ultimately.

# On January 6, Muhammad Kaiga, his wife Shauya, and his son Swaga Amuzha, who lived in Kaliro District in eastern Uganda, visited a church on November 22, accepted Jesus Christ, and converted to Christianity, but were killed by arson by Muslims. Muhammad was a member of the local mosque, and his son Swaga was cured by prayer at the church after dying of malaria. He converted to Christianity and kept it a secret. However, local Muslims reported Muhammad's attendance at the church service to Abd, the local Muslim chief. Chairman Abudu then visited Muhammad's house to confirm his conversion and forced him to change his mind, but Muhammad maintained his Christian faith. Furious, Chairman Abudu and local Muslims poured gasoline on Muhammad's family's house on December 26 and set it on fire, killing Muhammad and his family in the burned-down house.

# Sudan, ranked 5th in the 2025 Open Doors World Watch List (WWL) for the most persecuted countries in the world, has a Christian population of about 2 million. This is 4.5% of the total population of 43 million, and since civil war broke out in April 2023, there have been increasing cases of Christians being killed, sexually assaulted, and their homes and businesses being attacked. A young man in Sudan’s Darfur region was disowned by his Muslim family and forced to divorce his wife after converting to Christianity. This convert and many other Christians living in El Geneiina, whose names have not been released due to safety concerns, said they are continuing to keep their faith without fear despite threats to their lives from their families and local Muslims.

Father God, we pray that you protect and bless the 380 million children of God who keep their faith and worship God in countries that persecute Christians around the world. There are more and more countries persecuting Christians around the world. Most of the persecution of Christianity is from Islam. We pray especially for the Christians in Uganda and Sudan at this time. They keep their faith in the truth, Yeshua, and worship and obey the Lord, even in the face of threats to their families, relatives, and neighbors. Please protect them under the wings of the Lord, who is their refuge. Protect especially the servants and saints of the Lord who are spreading the gospel in Islamic countries with the hand of the Lord’s power. Grant them the power of the Holy Spirit and protect them. “I know that the Lord will defend the afflicted and will give justice to the needy. Surely the righteous will give thanks to your name; the upright will live before you.” (Psalm 140:12-13) Please remember and protect the saints who hear the gospel, are saved, rejoice, and serve the Lord in danger. We earnestly pray that you will protect their safety and health, defend the servants, local churches, and believers who work for souls in the countries of darkness and protect and comfort their families and children.

The civil war in Yemen, which began in 2014, has been fought between the Arab coalition supporting the Yemeni government and the rebel Houthis (Ansarullah). Still, the UN-brokered ceasefire agreement in 2022 has not been successful, Open Doors said, not only in areas illegally under the Houthis’ control but also for Christians under the control of the internationally recognized government. “Since the Houthis attacked Israel in October 2023, the Houthis have gained more power and influence, making it increasingly difficult for Christians and churches to hold services.” “Yemeni law criminalizes leaving Islam or insulting religion. This has led to some Christians being arrested.” During the 2025 survey period, many Christians in Yemen reported being detained by the authorities because of their faith or because of false accusations of anti-Christian harassment by family members or others. Yemen rose 4.6 points in the persecution index, rising from 5th place (89 points) to 3rd place (94 points) in the Christian persecution country.

Father God, we pray for the Christians of Yemen. After the Civil War, the few remaining immigrant Christians are legally free to worship privately. However, dozens of Christian house churches are no longer allowed to meet, and they are said to be unable to hold services in churches. The Houthi rebels, supported by Iran, are not only engaging in social violence but are also participating in the Israeli war, attacking Israel and merchant ships passing through the Gulf. Also, please sanction and attack the Houthis who oppress Christians in Yemen and prevent them from gathering in churches where they worship, and remove the Houthis from Yemen. “Let their eyes be darkened so they cannot see; let their loins tremble continually. Pour out your wrath upon them; let your fierce anger overtake them. Let their dwellings be desolate, and no one dwells in their tents.” (Psalm 69:23-25) According to this word, please rule over the Houthi rebels who are doing evil. Please let the day come when the few remaining immigrant Christians can worship freely and privately under the law. Please help spread the gospel of Yeshua's love to the poor people of Yemen through Christians and bring about a work of salvation.

Father God!

On January 26, the Trump administration's State Department implemented a "one flag policy" that prohibited the display of any flag other than the American flag on the State Department building, U.S. embassies, and overseas bases. All flags associated with the leftist movement, including the Pride flag and the Black Lives Matter flag, were taken down from U.S. government buildings. The U.S. flag, which symbolizes the universal principles of justice, freedom, and democracy, is the foundational value of our great nation and is shared by all American citizens, past and present. It symbolizes the unity of all Americans and shows 'respect' for the flag. However, the "Prisoner of War/Missing in Action" (POW/MIA) emblem and the "Unjustly Detained" flag are the only exceptions to this rule.

Father God, please unite America under the American flag and remove the gay pride flag and BLM flag that were flown on U.S. government buildings during the previous administration. We thank you for no longer displaying them in public facilities. The previous administration declared Transgender Day on Easter Sunday last year. We are grateful that June was designated as Pride Month and that the pride flag was placed in the center of the White House, pushing aside the American flag. We are grateful that the United States is returning to Biblical values and policies from anti-Biblical culture ​​and policies. President Trump, who has been opposed to the 'woke' ideology, called for the end of diversity, equity, and inclusion programs within federal agencies upon taking office. We are grateful that the official policy of the U.S. government recognizes only two genders: male and female. "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38-39). We thank God for leaving behind the socialism and cultural Marxism that led America into anti-biblical policies and culture for nearly 20 years, for uniting America again around the Word of God, and for leading us into a new chapter in history.

Early Sunday, Jan. 26, federal agents in Colorado raided an invitation-only party at a “private nightclub” in Adams County, north of Denver. They arrested 50 members of the Venezuelan drug trafficker Tren de Aragua (TdA) gang. The operation followed an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and other federal and local authorities into gang members attempting to break into several apartment buildings in the Aurora area last summer. A couple of residents were arrested and beaten by gang members, and Aurora police arrested 19 people in connection with the incident. Sixteen of the individuals were members of the TdA gang, who were dealing drugs, had weapons, and were involved in serious criminal activity. The city announced plans to close the apartment complex due to its unsafe conditions.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for cracking down on the crimes committed by gangs and criminals who entered the country illegally through the Trump administration and protecting the living environment of the residents. The authorities said, “This is a happy day for the safety of Colorado, and we thank you for the responsible operation of President Donald Trump, who announced during his campaign in Aurora that he would begin mass deportations of immigrants called “Operation Aurora.” Please eliminate the many evils that occurred during the previous administration when many illegal immigrants, called “undocumented immigrants,” entered the United States and committed crimes, human trafficking, drug dealing, and transportation. Please establish law and order so citizens can live their daily lives safely and stably. May the United States become a spiritually restored and growing nation that serves God with the correct view of faith and in all policies, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33) Please bless us to become a nation that follows this word and seeks God’s righteousness. We want churches and intercessors to pray more for America and the next generation of Americans so that America can be established again on the biblical word. We earnestly pray that America will stand as the kingdom of God, that the gospel's good influence will expand throughout the world through the Trump administration, and that America will fulfill its last-day mission of harvesting souls.

On the 27th, President Yoon Seok-yeol said, “From the beginning, I was determined to set the country right.” President Yoon said, “As president, this is the path I am taking to fulfill my duties, so let’s trust the people and deal with it confidently together with the people.” President Yoon’s defense team released a statement that day, repeatedly claiming, “Poisonous trees only bear poisonous fruit.” “Since the investigation by the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials is illegal, the prosecution’s indictment is also an extension of illegality.”

Father God, the situation we see seems to be sinking deeper and deeper into a swamp, but I believe that God is alive and working even now, and we pray with faith for the situation in the Republic of Korea. We confess that nothing happens without God’s permission. “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father’s permission.” (Matthew 10:29). According to this word, I believe that God is establishing the liberal democracy of the Republic of Korea through President Yoon in this era and protecting it from the pro-North Korean forces that commit illegal and unjust acts and the Chinese totalitarian traitorous forces. We thank You for declaring martial law and making us bear a heavy burden and do our best to sacrifice ourselves for the people. Please open our eyes to see the current situation as we live in the last few days. “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of the darkness of this world, and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that you may be able to stand your ground on the evil day, and after you have done everything, to stand.” (Ephesians 6:12-13) Please grant us the power to hold on to this word today, wear the whole armor, fight against the evil spirits, and overcome them. In the name of Yeshua, who has the power of heaven and earth, we bind up all the evil forces that commit all kinds of evil laws, injustice, and illegality and create a world of lawlessness. May the schemes of the pro-North Korean leftist forces that threaten liberal democracy and the free market economy at this time join hands with communism, drive this country into chaos, and make the people powerless be exposed entirely and destroyed. “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling.” (Ephesians 4:3-4) At this time, the spirit of division that has infiltrated each field and promoted division will leave our country and its people. Please do not let the spirit of division divide the country and its people into systems any longer. Let the history of the entire nation becoming one follow the unity of the Holy Spirit. In particular, please let the church and pastors become one in truth and unite as a church that prays, as pastors that pray, and as believers that pray. We heard that President Yoon is reading the Bible that he received from Pastor Kim Jin-hong after receiving the protection of the law and being free from impeachment. Please let him become a president who believes in Yeshua, the Messiah, and fears God. He should return to the people while being protected and guided in the truth and restore national power during the remaining term. Please establish liberal democracy in the Republic of Korea in the future and make sure that there is no place for pro-North Korean leftists and Chinese communists to gain a foothold. Until the day the Lord comes, please let the Republic of Korea go out into the world, show its status as a missionary country, and receive the grace and blessings to establish the kingdom of God.

“Prisoners of war must always be protected from public curiosity.” Article 12 of the Geneva Convention (Convention 3) stipulates this. Still, Ukrainian President Zelensky recently released a video of the interrogation of captured North Korean prisoners of war along with their faces. Unfortunately, the faces of North Korean prisoners of war have been revealed on the Internet. Kim Yu-nik, an analyst at the North Korea Human Rights Information Center in South Korea, said that exposing the identities of North Korean prisoners of war could lead to retaliation from the North Korean government and put their families in North Korea at risk.

Father God, please see that Kim Jong-un of North Korea is not protecting his people and is joining hands with Russia to commit all sorts of atrocities. He is sending North Korean soldiers to the war in Ukraine to be cannon fodder. It is reported that at least 1,000 North Korean soldiers who were dispatched to this war have died, and at least 4,000 are missing or injured. These people are forcibly conscripted like slaves, and their lives are considered worthless. The international community is raising its voice in condemnation, talking about North Korea's systematic human rights violations, and calling for countermeasures. North Korean soldiers were instructed to commit suicide if they encountered an unfavorable situation when leaving North Korea, so if they were captured, they would commit suicide. Please do not let the North Korean soldiers commit suicide. If their videos are released on the Internet without mosaic processing, their families may also face retaliation from the North Korean regime. Please protect and preserve the lives and personal safety of the North Korean prisoners of war and their families whose faces have already been revealed. “The Spirit of the Lord God is on me because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to those who are bound, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God to comfort all who mourn, to give to those who mourn in Zion a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified” (Isaiah 61:1-3)

Father God, please relieve the injustice of those who live in oppression and whose human rights are thoroughly violated, and let the day of unification through the gospel come quickly. We earnestly pray that you will grant them a day when they can praise God to their heart’s content and pray with their voices raised, and no one can restrain them. Please let the South and the North be unified and become one nation and people, and let them stand tall as a nation that serves God while keeping up with the times.
