Prayer for the Restoration of Israel and Nations

Father God, we (I) pray for Israel.

Father God!

On the afternoon of May 27, the 234th day of the Israeli war, Hamas from the southern Gaza Strip continued to fire rockets into Israel and attacked Tel Aviv. Still, they were intercepted by the Israeli military's Iron Dome. Israel attacked the command center near the UNRWA building in northwest Lafash with precision fire, killing three senior officials. Additionally, Israel discovered a Hamas weapons warehouse inside a school building in Jabaliya, northern Gaza, and bombed Hamas headquarters. In the midst of this, Israel is supplying daily necessities to Gaza residents by directly sending relief goods through Kerem Shalom on the Israeli border. Additionally, Hezbollah in northern Israel continues to attack Israel with increasing levels of rocket, drone, and missile attacks.

# On the 19th, the bodies of four hostages were recovered from a tunnel under the UNHCR building in Jabaliya, northern Gaza Strip, and on the 24th, the bodies of three hostages were recovered from the same tunnel. They continued to search the buildings, discovered terrorist tunnels, and recovered many weapons. Of the 235 hostages, 110 (86 Israelis and 24 foreign workers) were released. Afterward, three hostages were rescued, 19 bodies were recovered, and 125 hostages are currently detained.

Heavenly Father, Hamas, who returned with civilians in Jabaliya, northern Gaza, occupied by the Israeli army, attacked the construction of a headquarters near the UNRWA building. We are also grateful that the bodies of the hostages were recovered from the tunnel under the UNHCR building. We are pleased that we are eliminating Hamas terrorist agents who have returned to the north and are operating under the guise of civilians and are finding many weapons. Hamas, which is attacking Israel by using ordinary Gaza citizens as human shields, must be eliminated. Therefore, please protect the Israeli soldiers on the battlefield, the northern border of Lebanon, and the Golan Heights. “You are holy, O Lord, in praise of Israel. Our fathers trusted and trusted in you, and you delivered them. They cried to you and were saved; they trusted in you and were not put to shame.” (Psalm 22:3-5) According to the words of David's psalm, which he confessed and praised in this way, let Israel believe that God is the God of their ancestors, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and cry out and pray and give them victory. Please also comfort the families of the hostages, especially those who are grieving upon hearing the news of their deaths. Please help us become a people who seek God and pray through this difficult time of war, and open the eyes of those who pray and seek your face. Also, please open our ears and hearts so that we may realize that Yeshua is the Messiah who saves us from the power of Satan and eternal death and the King of the Jews. Please, Holy Spirit, work so they can become Israelites who know and come before the Lord.

On the 23rd, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced he would soon deliver a speech to the U.S. Congress. U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson announced plans to invite Prime Minister Netanyahu to the annual Independence Day reception at the Israeli Embassy in Washington. “It will show strong support for the Israeli government,” he said. Reuters reported that Chairman Johnson, a Republican, notified Democratic Senate Leader Chuck Schumer that if Prime Minister Netanyahu did not sign a letter requesting to address a joint session of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, he would be allowed to speak only in the House of Representatives.

Heavenly Father, God the Father, who knows Israel’s every situation! Anti-Israel protests are currently taking place around the world. Especially among American universities, Israel protests are now beginning to reach high schools. In this situation, we appreciate that the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives invites Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to address the House of Representatives and the Senate to address a joint session of Congress. We also appreciate the United States' opposition to the International Criminal Court's announcement of an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. We are thankful that the Lord, according to the words of the Lord who called Abraham, guided him to the land of Canaan, and blessed him, is returning the scattered Israel to their homeland, restoring the nation, and establishing it as a developing and robust nation. “I will make you into a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse, and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you. (Genesis 12:2,3) According to these words, please bless the United States, which is on Israel's side during this difficult time of war against Hamas, and control the anti-Semitic and Islamist-centered protests taking place in the United States. Please allow the history of American Jews returning to their homeland amid the anti-Semitism that is occurring in the United States amidst the war against Hamas. Let the U.S. government stand on Israel's side with the right policies and make us a country blessed by God. Please protect Israel and give her victory even during the war, and bless those countries who help Israel on God’s side!

* Heavenly Father, we proclaim that the war belongs to Jehovah, and we pray by proclaiming the words of Psalm 121.

1. I lift up my eyes to the mountains; whence will my help come?

2. My help is from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. 3. The LORD will not let you stumble, and he who watches over you will not slumber.

4. He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

5. The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade at your right hand.

6. The sun will not harm you by day, nor will the moon by night harm you.

7. The LORD will keep you from all trouble, and he will guard your soul.

8. The LORD will guard your coming out and coming out from now on and forevermore.”

Please protect the Israeli soldiers who memorize the Word, sing, and pray. May the soldiers and people of Israel fully trust that the God who helps them is the God of Israel.

Father God!

Heavenly Father, please give wisdom and understanding to Prime Minister Netanyahu, Israel's political leaders, and especially members of the War Cabinet. Please help leaders understand God's will, receive instruction, and practice the law uprightly and honestly. Amid a difficult situation, leaders cannot become one by following their own thoughts when they should be moving forward with one mind, seeking the Lord's will and wisdom. “It takes one to defeat, but two can stand; a three-ply cord is not easily broken” (Ecclesiastes 4:12). May the three members of the War Cabinet become one according to the Word of God. They say, “Let all speak the same thing, and let there be no divisions among you, but be perfectly united in the same mind and spirit” (1 Corinthians 1:10b). According to these words, please help us to become leaders who seek God's will without conflict, unite with the same mind and purpose, and dedicate ourselves to the country. Please support the leaders of the Israeli cabinet in becoming people who humble themselves before the Word of God, fear God, become one, and serve each other and the people so that we can overcome this difficult time and move forward with one mind.

Father God!

Heavenly Father, we thank you for calling all of us, Gentiles, as intercessors and servants of God’s great and precious work. We pray with the mission of a watchman on the perfect wall. Give us peace in Jerusalem, Lord God, establish Jerusalem and be praised. May the Jews and all the tribes of Israel scattered throughout the nations who must return to their homeland return to the Promised Land. Please work so Aliyah can be fulfilled even among the believing Jews by changing the law of return. Give us the power to fully fulfill the precious mission of praying and serving each of us until the word of God is fulfilled. May I always live a life of faith filled with the Holy Spirit. Please take care of our health.

Father God!

On May 24th, I received heartbreaking news from missionary Haiti. Haiti continues to be a country of lawlessness, suffering from violence and murder by gangs. On the 23rd, gangsters entered the seminary and committed murder. The person affected is a great principal who has studied at the seminary for the past seven years and is scheduled to graduate next year. Also, it is said that an American missionary and his wife, who were at the school together with a student whom the missionary loved, who showed the beauty of faith to those around him, were murdered. These precious people were killed in a fire, and it is said that such incidents occur frequently in Haiti these days. So, it is not unfamiliar, but it is said that when someone who was with us goes to heaven, everyone becomes sad. 

“God knows all these things we experience, but the Lord was crucified, and Apostle Paul died in a Roman prison. However, when the person we love, who was with us in faith, leaves us through an incident like this, we are all still shocked and immersed in sadness. However, please pray for the Haitian church and its members as we continue to decide to walk by faith. “I ask for continued encouragement and support from the Lord to rise with faith and win even during these difficulties.” Along with the missionary's confession of faith in the Lord and prayer request to Heavenly Father, in Haiti, the Lord's workers illegally attacked a gang's seminary, killing God's people and taking their lives. They were an American missionary couple who served in the mission field for the Lord and the school principal. The person who studied and served as the Lord was called a servant of the Lord through martyrdom. Please comfort the Haitian missionaries and their co-workers who are in pain and sorrow. “But flee from these things, you, a man of God, and follow righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness; fight the good fight of faith; lay hold on eternal life, to which you were called and have made a good testimony in the presence of many witnesses.” (1 Timothy 6:11,12) We pray with these words. Please give the comfort and peace of the Lord to the missionaries and the remaining co-workers who are fighting the good fight of faith, and fill them with the Holy Spirit to protect the seminary and the missionaries' ministries and keep them safe. Please comfort the families and co-workers of those who were martyred, the saints and churches of Haiti, and everyone who prays together for Haiti and give them strong faith.

Father God!

On May 23, China's Xinhua News Agency reported that the People's Liberation Army Eastern Theater Command began joint military exercises to surround Taiwan at 7:45 a.m. He emphasized, “It also acts as a warning to foreign powers that seek to punish Taiwanese separatist and independence forces and intervene in Taiwan affairs, as well as a strong response to the separatist actions of ‘Taiwan independence’ forces and a stern warning against interference and provocations by external forces.” This training will be conducted in the Taiwan Strait, west of Taiwan, and in the northern, southern, and eastern seas surrounding Taiwan Island. It will also be undertaken on islands in the Taiwan Strait, such as Kinmen Island, Mazdao Island, Wuchi Island, and Dongyin Island. He said, “Military units including the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Rocket Forces of the headquarters were mobilized for the ‘United Regen-2024A’ exercise.” A command spokesman said, “This training focuses on joint patrol, comprehensive battlefield control, joint seizure, and joint precision strikes against key targets in preparation for maritime and air combat.” He said, “It includes integrated operations inside and outside the island chain to monitor ships and aircraft approaching the area around Taiwan Island and to test the joint combat capabilities of the command’s forces.”

Heavenly Father, China has begun military training to incorporate Taiwan into its communist nation. This exercise will surround Taiwan from the sea on all four sides if China invades Taiwan by force. The Chinese military is threatening Taiwan and other Taiwan-supporting countries, including the United States, with integrated training by the Chinese army, which threatens to block support from the U.S. military and then launch an amphibious assault along with large-scale air strikes. Please control China's war plans against Taiwan, protect God's children in Taiwan, and strengthen them with the Holy Spirit. “The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are attentive to their cry. The face of the LORD is against those who work wickedly to cut off their tracks from the earth.” The righteous cry, and the LORD hears and takes them out of all their troubles. “He delivered me” (Psalm 34:15,16). Following these words, let the Taiwanese churches and believers pray to God, and may the Lord hear their prayers, rule over the Chinese Communist Party and the Xi Jinping regime that are planning war, and protect Taiwan. Please allow the gospel of the Lord to be proclaimed more vigorously through the prayers and service of believers, and bless Taiwan to become a land where God is worshiped.

Father God!

Heavenly Father, we continue to hear news of great disasters, such as floods and heat due to abnormal climates worldwide, along with war news. “The hope is that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and attain the glorious freedom of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers together in pain until now.” (Romans 8:18- 21) In this, we realize that all the creatures created by God are groaning and suffering as they wait for the coming of the Lord and that all of these phenomena of natural disasters caused by global warming and climate change are the beginning of catastrophe, signaling that the time of the Lord's coming is near. Please help us to see these things and repent, come to our senses, be alert and sober-minded, and give us the wisdom to live a life filled with the Holy Spirit with wise faith that prepares us to meet the Lord. Let us watch and pray as we prepare for the coming of the Lord, longing for God's kingdom of peace and justice ruled by the Lord, who governs and reigns over all things in the universe. Please help us praise the greatness of the perfect Lord. Give us the fullness of the Holy Spirit and enable us to live the life of a saint of words and prayer.

Father God, I (we) pray for the US.

Father God!

Louisiana will soon require all public schools to display the Ten Commandments in their classrooms. Several other states are considering such a move following the U.S. Supreme Court ruling on religion in schools. “Our laws are based on the Ten Commandments, and they have historical significance,” said Rep. Horton, who introduced the bill. There are also new opportunities to allow what was previously prohibited legally. “Because the legal environment has changed, we can propose legislation like the Ten Commandments.” He cited a U.S. Supreme Court decision that allowed a high school football coach to be reinstated after he was fired for praying on the field. However, opponents say the bill could conflict with another law that bans discussion of sexual orientation in classrooms. The bill is expected to pass with amendments in the House before being sent to Republican Gov. Jeff Landry and signed into law by opponents who will challenge it in court.

Heavenly Father, we thank you that the pioneers of faith who founded the United States prayed for freedom of religion and democracy and created the Constitution. Efforts to worship God, obey the Word, and maintain biblical values ​​in children's educational environments are experiencing many frustrations in the present era. At times like these, please help the governor sign a bill to put the Ten Commandments back in public school classrooms in Louisiana so it can be fully implemented. We confess that the United States is a country established with a mission from God. Please allow us to continue to be used as a country established for freedom of worship, as a country that spreads the gospel to all nations, and as a country that protects Israel, weak democratic governments, and those in need. “These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.” (Deuteronomy 6:6-7) Like these words, please help our children stand on the word of truth and not follow the sinful ideas and trends of the world. Please help us keep the Ten Commandments in our hearts, leave behind other gods, idols, and sins that call us exile, live sanctifiedly according to the Word, and live separately according to our faith among the dark and rebellious generation. Please give me the power of the Holy Spirit and guide me to live a life of light in the world.

Father God!

The Biden administration classifies it as a Schedule I drug with a high potential for abuse, like heroin and LSD. It also plans to ease regulations nationwide by reclassifying marijuana as unacceptable for medical use. Schedule 3 (Schedule 3) substances include Tylenol, steroids, and testosterone with codeine. Drug agencies and experts said the decision to reclassify marijuana was "political and election-driven." “This will result in a barrage of attractive advertising and promotions for child-friendly marijuana products, which will be fatal to America’s children,” he said. Studies have consistently shown that marijuana increases the risk of mental illness by five times and causes mental illness and lowered IQ. Reclassifying marijuana as a Schedule 3 drug means it is less addictive and poses fewer risks. This will allow us to produce more kid-friendly or potent products such as 99% concentrates.

Heavenly Father, we pray that you will stop the United States from attempting to classify smokable marijuana as a drug for political reasons and elections, which could lead to addiction. Now that many states across the country are legalizing marijuana, if marijuana is classified as a medicine, there will be a lot of propaganda and advertising about it. “Let your eyes see straight ahead, and your eyelids look straight before you; make straight paths for your feet, and make all your ways sound; do not turn aside to the right or the left; keep your feet from evil.” (Proverbs 4:26- 27) We pray that the people and churches will speak out according to these words and protect our children and youth from the dangers of addiction. Through the prayers of church intercessors and parents, please help us seek God's will and righteousness in all areas, including American law, education, and culture, and protect America's holiness.

Father God!

We pray for the November presidential election in the United States. Let a chosen leader be raised who can realize the values of the Bible according to the Word and correct all crookedness. Please help believers who believe in God and pray for the president and members of the Senate and House of Representatives so that they can discern and elect the people with a spirit of fear of the Lord. Let the media honestly report on the election campaign process and give the people the ears and discernment to judge and listen properly. In the name of Jesus, we cancel biased reports and public opinion, forming negative frames targeting specific candidates. We want those who fear God to devote themselves to the people and the country as presidents and leaders and have fair elections without manipulation or fraud. Let a president stand who restores America’s holiness by protecting its founding ideals and constitutional values and enacting an abortion law that saves the life of the fetus. Please help America become a just country of light that God uses until the end.

On the 23rd, the Comprehensive Anti-Discrimination Law and Homosexuality Countermeasures Committee of the Presbyterian Church of Korea (Chairman Pastor Eui-sik Kim) held a meeting and seminar at the World Church Cooperation Center at Presbyterian Theological University in Seoul. At the workshop on this day, Dr. So Ki-cheon (Professor Emeritus at Jangsin University and Director of the Word of Jesus Research Institute) gave a talk titled ‘Biblical Basis for homosexual idolatry and homosexual heresy in the New Testament.’ “There are many passages in the New Testament that link the list of vices linked to homosexuality to idolatry. (1 Corinthians 5:10-11; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Ephesians 5:5; Colossians 3:5; 1 Peter 4:3; Revelation 21:8)” “There is a reason why the New Testament defines fornication as homosexuality, which leads to idolatry. “This is because the culture of sacrificial rites through homosexual acts, in which same-sex priests and same-sex singers engaged in sexual acts, was prevalent in the Greco-Roman Greek and Mediterranean culture at the time.” “Paul realized that homosexuals who enjoyed physical pleasures were entering the Corinthian church and worshiping idols rather than serving God was widespread. He expressed that only by expelling them can the purity of the Corinthian church be maintained.” “Paul says in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor prostitutes, nor homosexuals 10. Neither thieves, the greedy, drunkards, revilers, or swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.” Among the list of sins in this passage, sodomy and probing are the parts that directly point out the sinfulness of homosexuality. It contains Paul's intention to warn against the obscene culture of homosexuality and idolatry that utilized sodomy and prostitution in ancient religions. In particular, “1 Timothy 1:10 says, ‘Fornicators, sodomites, traffickers, liars, and perjurers.’ “It was defined as ‘one who goes against sound teaching,’ and fornication and sodomy were defined as a list of homosexual vices.” “The New Testament thoroughly defines homosexuality as a list of vices in the context of being connected to idolatry. “The Apostle Paul still said that God’s wrath would come on homosexuals.”

God the Father, We spoke about this through a seminar held by the Comprehensive Anti-Discrimination Act and Homosexuality Countermeasures Committee of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Jesus (Chairman Reverend Kim Eui-sik). “We appreciate the fact that homosexuality is a fundamental challenge to God’s created order and that homosexuality also challenges the concept of family, which forms the basic framework of human society. The Apostle Paul pointed out the culture of his time in which homosexual acts were rampant in pagan temple ceremonies. He said in Romans 1:26, ‘What is natural is used against nature.’ It was written that homosexual acts that go against the created order of man and woman established by God are a sin that denies God by serving homosexual pleasure and desire as an idol. We are thankful that these words help the church and believers of this era understand and live a distinguished life of faith. “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God” (Romans 12:2). According to these words, please pray that the saints in an evil and adulterous generation can live a life distinct from the world as a new creation and a new person according to the Word of God. Please seek the power of the Holy Spirit and help me live the victorious life of a holy saint. Please help us to live in imitation of our sacred and pure Savior Yeshua and to praise and worship your Holy Father’s name.

Father God!

On May 24, it was announced that the national medical school admission quota for the 2025 school year was 4,567, an increase of 1,509 students. The Korea Council for University Education approved the ‘Changes to the 2025 University Admissions Process Implementation Plan’ the previous day. On the 25th, the National Association of Medical School Professors (KMA) surveyed professors at 30 medical schools nationwide before the increase in seats was confirmed. The survey results in which 776 medical school professors participated were announced. The survey was about whether buildings such as classrooms, libraries, medical equipment, and other facilities in the school, as well as securing teachers, can be appropriately secured by admission and promotion when the number of medical schools is increased. The response was that it was lacking in all aspects. In a statement, the Korean Medical Association said, “Increasing the number of admissions to universities with unprepared educational infrastructure will lead to poor medical education and the production of poor doctors.” “This will threaten patient safety and cause harmful consequences to public health,” he argued.

Heavenly Father, the government's confirmed number of students regarding the continued increase in medical school admissions has been announced. In response, please ensure that the necessary facilities for medical school educational institutions are fully established and that the required faculty and educational materials are prepared and filled to achieve proper medical education. We pray that the suitable suggestions from the medical school faculty and residents who have worked hard and maintained their positions for the patients will be accepted and that sound medical education will be achieved. Above all, please put an end to the chaos in the medical field that resulted in mass resignations in protest of the government's expansion of medical school quotas and stabilize the medical community so that affected patients can receive treatment. “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28). As these words say, may the conflicts between the government and medical staff come together to achieve goodness that leads to the development of the medical field, and may the right policies be established. We pray that the doctors who resigned will return to their noble mission of protecting the health and lives of patients so that patients who have committed perjury can receive help and treatment.

We plan a seminar for Korean missionaries in Israel from September 23rd to 30th. Please bless us so that the doors that have been shrunk due to Israel's war will be wide open, and please keep the instructors and all attendees solid and safe with the Holy Spirit.
