Prayer for the Restoration of Israel and Nations

'Look on Zion, the city of our festivals; your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful abode, a tent that will not be moved; its stakes will never be pulled up, nor any of its ropes broken. There the Lord will be our Mighty One. It will be like a place of broad rivers and streams. No galley with oars will ride them, no mighty ship will sail them. '

(Isaiah 33:20-21)

Father God, we (I) pray for Israel.

Father God!

The Feast of Trumpets (Yom Hatruah) begins on the evening of October 2nd, and the traditional Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah) starts in the Jewish calendar month of Tishrei 5785. Israel, which welcomes the New Year, will have ten days of remarkable repentance for the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), which will fall ten days from the Teshuvah days that began last month, and for restoring relationships.

Father God, the year 5784 was a year of pain due to war. Although it is a day of ongoing war, as we welcome the New Year, I pray that 5785 will be a year of victory in battle and days of peace that the Lord bestows on this land. Also, to these people who are going through the pain of this war, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” (John 14:27) We pray that you will come to know the Messiah Yeshua, who gives true peace, and that you will become a people who enjoy the peace of this heaven.

Father God!

On September 28, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Beirut Hezbollah headquarters along with an operation to destroy Hezbollah's weapons depots. Hezbollah's retaliatory strikes have resulted in numerous rocket attacks on Tel Aviv and Ben Gurion Airport, grounding flights and causing significant inconvenience to travel. At around 2:00 AM on October 1, a small number of IDF ground forces conducted a limited operation in the southern border territory of Lebanon, attacking Hezbollah tunnels. The Israeli military has launched a limited, localized, targeted ground operation. The operation, targeting Hezbollah's terror infrastructure along the southern border of Lebanon that threatens Israel, has been training and preparing for the past several months. The Israeli Air Force and artillery support the ground forces conducting this operation. The goal of this ground operation is to allow civilians in northern Israel to return to their homes and live as they did before.

Father God, the Israeli government and military have started a ground war to ensure that the citizens of the northern region can return to their homes and live in peace during the holidays. Please let Israel’s strategic goals for its people be achieved. Please lead us to remove Hezbollah from the Lebanese border altogether so that it can no longer exist and open the border between Lebanon and Israel in a relationship of peace. The past two wars caused by Hezbollah have already caused much damage, pain, and hardship. Now, we pray that Hezbollah will be driven out, that there will be a complete recovery between the Lebanese and Israeli borders, and that a border will be established where true peace can be achieved. Please pray that the UN resolution to demilitarize the southern part of the Litani River will be implemented and that Lebanese politics will be normalized.

We believe this war belongs to you, Father God, and we continue to proclaim the words of Psalm 121 and pray to the Lord God, who protects Israel.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber;

Indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand;

the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life;

the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Father God, we pray that you will rule over and punish Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah on the northern border of Lebanon, and the Houthi terrorist group in Yemen to the south, who are attacking Israel in the evil scheme of Iran to destroy Israel. Most countries around the world see the evil of the Hamas terrorist group causing war and using Gazans as human shields due to the explosion of the Fifi explosion walkie-talkie in Lebanon. They are attacking Israel by saying that these explosions were done by Israel's Mossad while keeping Israelis hostage without raising a voice. "Arise, O God, and judge the earth, for all the nations are yours" (Psalm 82:8). Amen! Please have mercy on the Gazans who have left their homes and are living in exile due to war. We pray that Hamas' terrorist armed groups will raise their hands and surrender and that the land will be healed. Please protect the lives of the hostages held in the Gaza Strip and open the way for them to return quickly. Please have mercy on the Gazans who are suffering from war under the evil Hamas, and let the ignorant Hamas terrorists come forward and surrender. Please protect the lives of Israeli citizens and police officers from the terrorism that is occurring everywhere in Israel. Please protect and keep the Israeli soldiers who are fighting for peace in that land. Please help the civilians who were injured in war and terrorism and the soldiers who were wounded on the battlefield to be treated well and recover healthily. 

Please help the Israeli residents in the north, including Kiryat Shmona, to return home for the Feast of Tabernacles. Also, please bless the government and all the soldiers who are working hard to provide an environment where young children can receive school education and give them victory in the war. “Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel,” declares the LORD. “I will help you, and your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. Behold, I will make you a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; you will beat the mountains and crush them, and make the hills like chaff.” (Isaiah 41:14-15) According to this word, please make the soldiers of Israel a new threshing sledge. We pray that you will protect and help the soldiers working hard on the battlefield to become brave soldiers and an army that fulfills God’s word. “For you are holy, O Lord, enthroned in the praises of Israel.” (Psalm 22:3). We praise the holy God of Israel.

Father God!

We praise the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, who protects Israel and gives her victory in war. We pray that you purify Jerusalem for the holy name of God the Father. We destroy all the idols that have defiled the temple of Jerusalem in the name of Yeshua. We oppose all the evil deeds of the pagans in the Valley of the Hinnom and the foreign gods in the Valley of Kidron in the name of Yeshua and burn them with the fire of the Holy Spirit. Covered with the blood of Yeshua, we declare that Jerusalem will be purified in the mighty name of Yeshua. The altar of Abraham on Mount Moriah will be restored. The altar of the burnt offering on the threshing floor of Araunah of David will be erected. The temple established through Solomon, proclaiming peace, will be established as a house of prayer for all peoples, and worship will be restored! Glory be to the holy Jehovah God alone. We declare that the complete restoration of Jerusalem will be accomplished in the name of the Messiah Yeshua, who will come again!

Father God!

Heavenly Father, we thank you for calling all of us, Gentiles, as intercessors and servants of God’s great and precious work. We pray with the mission of a watchman on the perfect wall. Give us peace in Jerusalem, Lord God, establish Jerusalem and be praised. May the Jews and all the tribes of Israel scattered throughout the nations who must return to their homeland return to the Promised Land. Please work so Aliyah can be fulfilled even among the believing Jews by changing the law of return. Give us the power to fully fulfill the precious mission of praying and serving each of us until the word of God is fulfilled. May I always live a life of faith filled with the Holy Spirit. Please take care of our health.

Father God!

At least 276 Christians have been killed by Fulani militias across Plateau State in Nigeria since May 15. Thirty thousand people have fled their homes, and 28 church buildings and 2,000 homes have been destroyed. On June 4, the Church of Christ in Nigeria (COCIN) church and the homes of its members in Ajin town were damaged by Fulani militants. On June 6, Pastor Shadrack Ayuba of the Assemblies of God in Nigeria and Pastor Mangmwos Daniel of the Nigerian Baptist Church were killed in Mangu County. Pastor Jacob Dashop, the Gindiri district president of the Christian Church, said there have been attacks in more than 20 villages, including Bwai. It was reported that most of the Christians who were killed were women or children.

Father God, amid the world's greatest tribulation and persecution, churches and villages were burned, and countless Christians were kidnapped. Also, please protect and comfort the Nigerian believers who kept their faith and fervently worshiped and served God even amid martyrdom. Over 8,200 Nigerian believers were martyred last year. This year, we heard news of 276 martyrs in May alone and continued attacks by the Fulani armed group. “When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony they had maintained. They cried out with a loud voice, ‘How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?’ White robes were given to each of them. They were told to rest for a little while, until their fellow servants and their brothers, who were to be killed as they were, were completed.” (Rev. 6:9-11) We pray with these words in my heart. When the number of martyrs is complete, the Lord will come again and avenge the blood of His servants who kept their faith and gave their lives. We look to the Lord, who gives the crown of life to the faithful believers who died. Please pour out the Holy Spirit even more on the children of the Lord who serve and worship Him in Nigeria, communist countries, and Islamic countries at this time. Please comfort and protect them and give them faith to overcome boldly. Only the Lord is King. We worship only the Lord. Lord, receive our life and be glorified.

Father God!

Hurricane Helen, which hit the southeastern United States on September 28, caused flooding, mudslides, and strong winds, resulting in at least 55 deaths in five states: Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia. In Tennessee, residents were ordered to evacuate due to the risk of a dam failure caused by the flooding. In addition, 3.5 million people were affected by power outages across several states, and more than 400 roads and many places were without internet, slowing down rescue efforts. In addition, 22 people were killed by Hurricane John in Mexico, which continued until September 28. Climate researchers have pointed out that global warming is making hurricanes more potent by warming the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. From September 27 to 30, parts of Nepal's capital, Kathmandu, received up to 322.2 mm of rain in one day, flooding homes and cutting off roads and bridges. The heavy rains killed at least 200 people, injured 127, and left 26 missing, the Interior Ministry spokesperson said. 

We realize that all these phenomena and disasters this summer are announcing the coming of the Lord. Through catastrophe that cannot be done by human power, may the people of all nations realize and come to know God, the ruler who governs and rules over all things and all climates in the universe. Please have mercy on those suffering from climate change worldwide, such as typhoons, heavy rain, floods, tornadoes, and wildfires. “You who have shown us sore troubles, you will revive us and bring us up again from the depths of the earth” (Psalm 71:20). As the Psalmist confesses in his prayer, may the people who are suffering and taking refuge seek God as their help and come to God as our help with hope. Please comfort and show mercy to those who have lost their homes and families and are in sorrow and hardship due to typhoon damage. And let all the people of the world in this age realize and know that God governs and rules over all things and all weather, and let them come before the Lord. Through the disaster that cannot be done by human power, let them come before God, the ruler, and master of all things in the universe.

'If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. '

Father God!

Parents of Jefferson County Public Schools have spoken out about the current state of gender identity and LGBTQ protections in the United States. They recommended that the school comply with the policy that “no transgender student shall be required to share a room with a student whose gender identity conflicts with theirs.” However, with the help of the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), they filed a lawsuit in Colorado against the school that repeatedly refused the parents’ request. The lawsuit stems from the fact that the parents of their 11-year-old daughter were told that she would be sharing a room with three other female students on a school trip sponsored by the Jefferson County, Colorado, school district and that the trip would result in her sharing a bed with a boy who identified as a girl. Another family’s 11-year-old son was told that male high school counselors would supervise him on their annual camping trip. However, the campsite counselor was an 18-year-old woman assigned to oversee the boys’ showers.

Father God, the current administration in the United States, which ignores the rights of non-transgender students, is redefining the words 'female student' and 'male student' to mean 'gender identity' that students claim, not gender. Also, under the current administration, whatever liberal ideology claims is a 'right,' and anything that claims conservative or biblical values ​​is prejudice or hate crime. "When God created man, he made him in the image of God; male and female he created them" (Genesis 5:1-2). We repent for the reality that gender identity is prioritized in the current political world, education, and sports policies, even though there is actual gender. We repent for the fact that the church and parents were silent and failed to stop this harm when it entered this society. Parents have the right and duty to raise and educate their children. We pray that policies will be reestablished to protect parents from being exposed to the opposite sex in their decisions about their children's private lives, especially their activities, such as their accommodations or shower facilities, and their physical privacy from being violated. Not only Jefferson County but also the U.S. education system has implemented policies that prioritize sexual identity and LGBT rights by the Title IX Amendment. We pray that the lawsuit filed against the disappearance of children's safety and rights will be won and that the evil Title IX Amendment will be repealed. Please wake up and pray for all parents and churches to be awake so that this cruel policy can be abolished and proper education can be provided.

Father God!

We are thankful for the spiritual awakening and movement taking place on college campuses in America to bring about profound change and national revival. Recently, reports of spiritual revival have occurred at various colleges and college sports gatherings. Evangelist Tonya Prewett, who has been preaching the gospel on numerous campuses across America, said that over 2,000 people have been saved, and over 800 have been baptized through Unite America campus events over the past year.

Father God, we praise You for bringing a wave of revival to the youth of America’s college campuses. We believe and pray that when all the churches and believers in America begin to trust Christ and the God who made this country great, actual change and revival will occur. That revival will eventually reach the government and officials. We pray that a wave of true revival will take place. We believe that revival and development in America will begin not through government policies but through the churches of those who serve God. “I urge, then, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people—for kings and all who are in authority—so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Tim. 2:1-4) Please lead the church in praying for this age and fulfilling its role of changing society through true repentance and prayer by the Holy Spirit.

Father God!

Pray for the US presidential election in November. Mail-in voting and early voting are already underway in each state. Please ensure that all election procedures are conducted fairly and without fraud, cover the presidential and vice presidential candidates with the blood of Jesus, and protect them from assassination attempts. Please block the evil attempts of Russia, Iran, China, etc., to interfere and influence the presidential election. “There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood” (Proverbs 6:12-13). As the Word says, expose all the schemes of those whom God hates, let the people see their true nature, and let them fall. Please establish a president who will lead the United States with the truth and justice of the Bible and many senators, representatives, and state governors who can work together with him. Please require proper identification during the election process, and let the people have the appropriate discernment to judge whether abortion is being used in the election by falsely claiming it is a personal freedom and reproductive right so that a leader who pleases you will be appointed.

Father God, I (we) pray for South Korea.

On October 1, the 76th anniversary of the Armed Forces Day was celebrated at the Seoul Airport runway in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. Approximately 5,000 troops and 83 types of 346 military equipment were unveiled along with the actual Hyunmoo-5 surface-to-surface missile capable of ultra-precision, ultra-high-power strikes across North Korea. The participating troops and equipment moved to Sejong-aero from Sungnyemun to Gwanghwamun and held a parade. Regarding the Armed Forces Day event that never took place during the Moon Jae-in administration, the Ministry of National Defense spokesperson said, “If our citizens see the mighty of the Armed Forces through such a large-scale event and send support and encouragement to our soldiers, it will greatly impact their morale.” Overseas military attachés from over 100 countries attended this ceremony to watch the parade of our military’s cutting-edge weapon systems. Starting the next day (the 2nd), we will also participate in the ‘Korea International Defense Industry Exhibition (KADEX 2024)’, which will be held in Gyeryongdae, Chungnam Province. An official said that this could greatly help in ‘activating exports’ of K-Defense industries in economic terms due to the export linkage effect of overseas potential customers who have confirmed the actual deployment of weapons.

Father God, as we celebrate the 76th anniversary of the Republic of Korea Armed Forces' founding, we thank you for protecting our national defense and blessing us to make significant progress in weapons production. Please give courage to young soldiers through the street parade, make the people aware of national defense, and cooperate. We thank you for not only informing the world of the development and solid military power of the Republic of Korea through the weapons export industry but also for putting pressure on the Kim Jong-un regime in North Korea. “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we will boast in the name of the Lord our God.” (Psalm 20:7). According to this verse, please protect the people of the Republic of Korea from relying on modern cutting-edge national defense weapons to fight the Korean War when they had nothing and up until today. Praise God for giving us revival and development, be more thankful, and become a people who boast of the Lord God. Receive the glory of God through the Republic of Korea. Make the Republic of Korea a country used for the kingdom of God in this last generation. Bless the churches and believers of the Republic of Korea so that they can become a country that prepares for the coming of the Lord and fill them with the Holy Spirit to fulfill the mission of the era of missionary Korea.

On September 27, Yeomyeong School in Seoul, which serves North Korean defectors who have difficulty adapting to regular schools, celebrated its 20th anniversary. Yeomyeong School is an alternative school opened in a commercial building in Bongcheon-dong, Seoul, by 23 churches for defectors who have difficulty adapting to regular schools due to language and cultural issues. It has relocated twice so far, but due to opposition from some residents who are concerned that it will negatively impact housing prices, the school is said to have to relocate again in February 2026. Yeomyeong School is the only middle and high school for defectors approved by the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education. If it finds an alternative site outside of Seoul, its regular academic credentials from the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education will be canceled. Yeomyeong School helps defectors adapt to South Korean society and live as citizens of the Republic of Korea. Among its graduates are teachers and nurses who have passed the teacher certification exam.

Father God, we pray that Yeomyeong School for defectors in Seoul will find a building with good educational facilities. Please give wisdom to the youth studying at Yeomyeong School so that they can adapt well and endure the learning process with the right faith. Let them study hard with dreams of hope for the future. Please help them find a good school that the Lord has prepared for them if they have to move to a new place. Please bless the 23 churches and the believers who established and run this school. We should be the people of the Republic of Korea who desire unification and embrace North Korea. Still, please pity the residents who are not adequately caring for the defectors who came to this land and are seeking their benefit. “Do not rob the weak because he is weak, and do not oppress the afflicted at the gate.” (Proverbs 22:22). Please follow these words so that the residents do not have any unfair prejudices against defectors and the youth who are growing up in North Korea and become warm neighbors who give love and encouragement. Please help the alternative school, Yeomyeong School, stand firm, develop, and help the youth grow into excellent people of God. Please let the people of the Republic of Korea have good compassion for North Korean defectors. Please help and establish North Korean defectors to overcome all traumas and cultural differences and adapt well to South Korea so that they can live proudly as members of the Republic of Korea, and further, let them be used as a catalyst for the free gospel and unification. Please prepare educational facilities for North Korean defector youth, and let many Christian teachers, prayer workers, and sponsors arise to nurture and serve North Korean defector youth and let them serve with love and prayer.

Father God!

We pray for the ministry planned and promoted by CWMI in 2024. 

Thank you for blessing the Korean Missionary Seminar held in Israel during the war from September 23 to 30, and for concluding it with grace. We are grateful to Pastor Kim In-sik, Mrs. Kim Woong-ja, Pastor Lee Seong-ja, Pastor Choi Ezra, and the missionaries who attended for seeing and learning the big picture of the Bible about Israel. May the Lord bless the hands and knees that served for this seminar, as well as all those who served on the ground.

Please bless the seminar “See the Big Picture of the Bible” to be held at Ebenezer Church in Korea on October 21st, send people of God to listen to the words, and pour out great grace.

# Please bless all executives and branch heads, including the president. What we ask of those in charge is loyalty, so let them obey for the glory of the Lord and let only the gospel be revealed.
