Prayer for the Restoration of Israel and Nations

'I say to the Lord , “You are my God.” Hear, Lord , my cry for mercy. Sovereign Lord , my strong deliverer, you shield my head in the day of battle. '

Father God, we (I) pray for Israel.

Father God!

# On November 18, several missiles fired by Hezbollah in Lebanon were hit at high altitude by Israeli interceptors and disintegrated into several parts. One of them hit a transformer, causing glass to fall from the tower and damaging a utility pole, and a bus with no passengers on board was destroyed and set on fire. A store was damaged, a woman was killed, and four were injured. The IDF said it attacked the Hezbollah headquarters building and several weapons depots in Beirut, Lebanon, destroying numerous weapons.

# The Southern Command leadership, fighting in the Gaza Strip, continues its war against the newly formed Hamas in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. A company commander from one unit said, “Hamas operatives tried to block the IDF by using over 55,000 civilians as human shields, and Jabalia had a considerable amount of explosive devices and traps in addition to weapons. “The operation was successful, the building was destroyed, and 200 Hamas terrorists surrendered in one night on the 18th,” he said. He said, “Our forces are strong. We will continue until we win until we bring back the hostages... That is our dream. If we continue, Hamas will be completely disarmed, and families will be able to raise their children in peace without having to see what happened on October 7th."

# On November 17th, after the Israeli military deployed artillery for combat operations in southern Lebanon and engaged Hezbollah's second line of defense, the 36th Division decided to move its heavy artillery into Lebanese territory. In addition, the 411th "Keren" Battalion artillery unit joined the battle. It began operations across the border into Lebanon, and the 282nd Brigade's artillery and fire control center fired on thousands of targets, including weapons depots, Hezbollah command posts, operational apartments, and rocket launch sites targeting Israel.

Father God, we thank you for protecting Israel in this war and terror situation, and we declare that the war belongs to you, and we pray with the words of Psalm 121.

'I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord , the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.'

Father God, we thank you for the victory of the Israeli army in the battle, taking out the leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah. We pray that you punish Iran for supporting Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis in Yemen, and Iraq, who are attacking Israel, declaring that they will wipe Israel off the face of the earth and will continue to attack Israel. In particular, there are casualties from shrapnel as we defend against drone and rocket attacks by Hezbollah in Lebanon that are attacking Israel daily. Lord, please help us heal quickly. Please work quickly for Hamas and Hezbollah to surrender entirely and come forward and for the war to end. Please find the 101 hostages currently in Gaza and open the way for them to return. Please protect the health and safety of the soldiers on the battlefield. We are thankful that the Gazans, who have been living in pain, moving from their homes due to war under the evil Hamas, are realizing the evil of Hamas and are revealing to the news reporters that they want the Israeli military to eliminate Hamas. We pray that the days will soon come when the residents of the Gaza Strip, the southern residents of Lebanon, and the northern regions of Israel and the Gaza border can all live in stability. Please comfort the parents who have lost their young sons who went to the military for the peace of the country and the families who have lost their husbands and fathers. “Israel will be saved by the Lord with an everlasting salvation; you will never be put to shame or disgraced.” (Isaiah 45:17). We are grateful that the Lord God will save Israel according to this word. Please protect the Israeli soldiers on the battlefield and defend and protect the citizens from the Hamas agents who continue to commit terrorism within Israel. Please help the wounded soldiers and civilians to receive complete treatment and recover quickly. “But you are holy, O Lord, enthroned in the praises of Israel” (Psalm 22:3). Praise be to the Holy God of Israel.

Father God!

Even during the 24-year war, Aliyah continued to take place. A total of 27,335 people made Aliyah from countries including Russia and the former Soviet Union (19,093 people), Western Europe (3,120 people), Eastern Europe (297 people), the United States (2,767 people), Canada (270 people), Australia (139 people), South Africa (253 people), Latin America (1,011 people), Turkey and the Middle East (145 people), other Asian and African countries (115 people), and Ethiopia (82 people). 

“Lord God, Father, we thank you that the Jewish people who have been scattered throughout the world for over 2,000 years are returning to the Promised Land according to God’s word. The Jewish people who have been scattered across the globe and endured difficult times have come to their homeland, which is in the midst of war, looking forward to God’s blessings. Please guide us, the Holy Spirit, to correctly understand the words of God's promise, to rely on God, to settle down well in faith and hope, and to give glory to God who blesses this land and its people. We believe that the Jews who still need to return and the lost Ten Tribes are ultimately found and are working to return. “And I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them; and the nations will know that I am the LORD, when I am sanctified in you before their eyes, declares the Lord God. I will take you from the nations, gather you from all countries, and bring you into your own land. I will sprinkle clean water on you and you will be clean; from all your uncleannesses and from all your idols I will cleanse you. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you. I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put my Spirit in you and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to follow my ordinances. And you will live in the land that I gave to your fathers; you will be my people, and I will be your God.” (Ezekiel 36:23-28) According to this word, may the Lord who brought them back wash them with clean water and pour out his Spirit on them. Through this Aliyah, may the holy name of Jehovah God be glorified among the nations. Above all, may the eyes, ears, and hearts of those who have returned be opened, and may they see the Messiah Yeshua, understand the Word, and obtain complete salvation.

Father God!

All the idols that defiled Israel and the temple of Jerusalem are destroyed in the name of Yeshua. All the evil deeds of the pagans in the Valley of the Hinnom and the foreign gods in the Valley of Kidron are confronted in the name of Yeshua and are consumed by the fire of the Holy Spirit. We declare that Jerusalem is covered with the blood of Yeshua and purified in the mighty name of Yeshua. The altar of Abraham on Mount Moriah will be restored. The altar of the burnt offering on the threshing floor of Araunah of David will be erected. The temple that Solomon established to proclaim peace will be established as a house of prayer for all peoples, and worship will be restored! Glory be to the holy Jehovah God alone. We declare that the complete restoration of Jerusalem will be accomplished in the name of the Messiah Yeshua, who will come again!

Father God!

Heavenly Father, we thank you for calling all of us, Gentiles, as intercessors and servants of God’s great and precious work. We pray with the mission of a watchman on the perfect wall. Give us peace in Jerusalem, Lord God, establish Jerusalem and be praised. May the Jews and all the tribes of Israel scattered throughout the nations who must return to their homeland return to the Promised Land. Please work so Aliyah can be fulfilled even among the believing Jews by changing the law of return. Give us the power to fully fulfill the precious mission of praying and serving each of us until the word of God is fulfilled. May I always live a life of faith filled with the Holy Spirit. Please take care of our health.

On November 12, the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, head of the Church of England and the Anglican Communion worldwide, announced his resignation amid a scandal over the cover-up of child abuse within the church. “The Makin Review exposed Bishop Welby’s complicity in the vicious abuse of more than 100 children by John Smyth. Bishop Welby said he had failed to take appropriate action. “It is obvious that I am personally and institutionally responsible for the long period of re-traumatisation from 2013 to 2024.” “I hope this decision to resign will make clear how seriously the Church of England understands the need for change and our deep commitment to making the Church safer.”

Father God, as head of the Church of England, Bishop Justin Welby has resigned with deep shame and responsibility for the Church of England's historic safeguarding failures due to his own weaknesses. We pray that the church, which should care for and serve the weak, especially the growing children of this land, will become leaders who genuinely repent for their inability to do this work. It does not end with one person taking responsibility and stepping down, but I hope all churches and leaders in the UK will humbly bow down before the throne of the Lord. “I urge you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by renewing your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Romans 12:1, 2) Please join us in obeying this word and being transformed by the help of the Holy Spirit so that we can become a church that obeys the will of the Father. Please allow the churches and leaders in the UK to take on the task of offering spiritual worship with their lives, serving and caring for the next generation with the Word, prayer, and love, and kneeling humbly with the mission of being the true light and salt of the world. Please bless us so we may become a new church that stands before the Lord, who is eternal in His goodness and mercy.

Father God!

On November 17, US President Biden authorized Ukraine to strike the Russian mainland. Samuel Rahmani of the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), a British security think tank, assessed that this decision was too late. He pointed out that this decision was made after President-elect Trump declared that he would end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours of taking office. The US recently permitted Ukraine to use the US Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS), which has a range of 300 km, which is interpreted as a response to North Korea's dispatch of about 12,000 troops to recapture the Kursk region in Russia.

Father God, the Russian invasion of Ukraine is a great disaster not only for Ukraine but also for Russia, causing great hardships and loss of life and property. Please comfort the Ukrainian people who are suffering and wounded by the innocent sacrifice of many civilians due to the severe war and the tired bodies and minds of Ukrainian refugees who have fled to neighboring countries due to the war. Please pray for the safety of all churches and families in Ukraine. Please protect us, give courage to church leaders, and help the saints overcome the fear of war with faith. Also, please touch and heal the hearts of the families of the Russian soldiers who lost their lives on the battlefield. “And he said to them, ‘Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.’” (Luke 21:10). “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See to it that you are not afraid; all these things must happen, but the end is not yet.” (Matthew 24:6) Lord, who said that this is the beginning of disasters, I believe that through the news of suffering that comes from wars, primarily through the war between Russia and Ukraine and the war between Hamas Hezbollah and Israel, you will make us realize that this is the beginning of disasters in the last days. We pray that you will have mercy on the countries and peoples in war and that the door of your salvation will be opened. We pray that the reign of the Lord, the King of Peace, will come upon all the nations of this earth. At the beginning of these disasters, please fill us with the Holy Spirit so that we may stay awake, be sober, long for the coming of God's kingdom, and live a life of faith that prepares the way for the Lord's coming.

Following the election of former President Trump, the audiences of American media networks have shifted. According to Nielsen Media Research data, left-leaning MSNBC has seen a 54% drop in primetime and viewership, while right-leaning Fox News has seen a whopping 61% increase in viewership. Last week, CNN President Mark Thompson announced layoffs that would “affect hundreds of employees across the organization.” Also, the Associated Press, New York Times, Washington Post, and Los Angeles Times, which decided not to support a specific candidate in the 2024 presidential election, are shifting from left-leaning reporting to more conservative reporting. In particular, several editors resigned in protest after the LA Times decided not to support a specific candidate, but the paper's owner recently said that he would reflect more conservative voices to balance out the left-leaning paper.

Father God, thank you for the winds of justice blowing in the media. We thank you for letting the mainstream media, which poured out very narrow-minded and one-sided favors for the progressive camp throughout the presidential election period, know that they have been reporting false information after the election. “His mouth is full of cursing, lies, and violence; under his tongue are mischief and iniquity.” (Psalm 10:7). Please let the media discern and report the truth and facts. Also, let the Korean press, which indiscriminately translates and reports articles or reports from the left-leaning mainstream media in the United States, look back on this opportunity to discern and report correctly. “Those who pursue righteousness and kindness find life, righteousness, and honor.” (Prov. 21:21). According to this verse, Please help the media and journalists speak the truth, follow righteousness and kindness, and correctly guide the people.

Louisiana passed a bill in June requiring public school classrooms to display “certain historical documents,” including the Ten Commandments, the Mayflower Compact, the Declaration of Independence, and the Northwest Ordinance. The bill stated that recognizing the historical role of the Ten Commandments is consistent with our nation’s history and faithfully reflects the wishes of our Founders regarding the need for civic morality. The law was scheduled to take effect on New Year’s Day 2025. However, groups such as the American Civil Liberties Union, the Freedom from Religion Foundation, and Americans for the Separation of Church and State filed a lawsuit opposing the law. Federal Judge DeGravels has temporarily blocked a Louisiana law requiring public schools to post the Ten Commandments in every classroom. Earlier this year, Superintendent Walters issued guidance allowing Oklahoma public schools to display Bibles in classrooms and use them for discussion. However, last month, the American Civil Liberties Union and the Americans for the Separation of Church and State filed a lawsuit against this.

Father God, please have mercy on the wrong groups in the American educational community trying to reject the truth and bring them back to the path of proper education. “Blessed is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God.” (Psalm 146:5). Please restore the tradition of American history and culture by including the Ten Commandments and the Bible in children’s education, as this verse says. Currently, the states of Louisiana and Oklahoma, which are dominated by the Progressive party in the United States, are doing their utmost to block the precious work of bringing the Ten Commandments and the Bible back to all classrooms, despite the need to understand the biblical principles that are the foundation of America’s founding ideology, history, and culture. Please let those who oppose and block good laws fear God repent and come to their senses. We pray that you will help and use the policies of the new Trump administration that will take office on January 20th of next year to return America to biblical values ​​and to prevent the imposition of critical race theory, radical gender ideology, and other inappropriate racial, gender, or political content on our children. We pray and thank you for blessing the plan for America’s education sector to be the first to return to biblical values ​​and granting us the wisdom and power to carry it out entirely.

Father God!

Thank you for listening to the prayers for the presidential election and for electing President Trump, who is conservative and prays with the advice of the servants of faith before God. Please give wisdom and faith to the elected president so that America can become a nation of faith again that fears and serves God. Please help the Lord use the authority that comes from God wisely to maintain order among the nations and continue peace without war so that the people of America can be at peace. “For he is God’s messenger to you for good” (Romans 13:4). Please help us to become people who do good, as this verse says. “He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you but to act justly, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8) Please help me become a president who acts justly, fears the Lord God, and loves the people, as this verse says. Until the day of the inauguration, please give us discernment and wisdom to establish people of faith who trust in God and serve the country and the people in all departments. Please bless the President of the United States and all leaders who will be with him, encouraging them to be faithful to God and courageous and bold in carrying out the good things they promised during the election. Please keep us safe and let us always stand humbly before God, fearing only the Lord and using proper authority so that God’s kingdom and rule may be established. Please let us use what God has entrusted to us for good. The president-elect has been decided, and there are still places in the Senate and House of Representatives where the votes are being counted. Please let it proceed fairly without corruption until the end and produce perfect results. God gives the President strength in all he does in this country and returns to the rule of law. Please give the new administration the strength to do everything necessary for the nation's work so that America can return to biblical values. We pray that biblical morality, education, and many policies will be restored in all areas and that God's will to be accomplished through the United States will be wholly performed in the nations. Please let God use the United States as a good nation and a nation of light, a missionary nation that spreads the gospel to the nations until the end.

North Korea's Korean Central News Agency reported on the 12th, "The 'Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation' signed in Pyongyang on June 19 was ratified by Chairman Kim Jong-un's decree." "The head of state (Kim Jong-un) signed the decree on the 11th." A Ministry of Unification official said, "This is the first time that a treaty has been ratified in the form of a Chairman's decree." "We are paying attention to the possibility that Russia and North Korea will officially link the treaty and North Korea's troop dispatch after the treaty comes into effect." Father God, Russia, and North Korea are further building up the power of evil by signing a treaty and establishing a strategic partnership. Please remember that military and economic cooperation resulting from this treaty will directly affect harmful elements in the international community and inevitably escalate into more significant problems. North Korea is developing new weapons with economic support from Russia, causing chaos in the global community and threatening South Korea, which is trying to bring about unification and preparing to start a war inwardly. It is also clear that Russia is worried that it will send North Korean troops to attack Ukraine and turn innocent lives into cannon fodder on the battlefield. “Do not trust in nobles, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help. For his breath departs, he returns to his earth; on that day, his thoughts perish. Blessed is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God.” (Psalm 146:3-5)

Father God, we trust you with the concerns and threats that may arise due to the Russia-North Korea treaty. Please make history so that the treaties that threaten our safety and peace and drive innocent lives to their deaths are nullified. Let the powers and forces be destroyed according to God’s will, and kneel before God, who governs history. Let their conspiracies and injustice be revealed to the world, and let the lives of the North Korean military be protected under the shadow of the Almighty. Let the prayer bowl for unification be filled so that Kim Jong-un’s unification erasure is stopped and the day when the South and the North are unified through the gospel comes quickly. Let the South and the North be unified, and the collapsed churches in North Korea be rebuilt everywhere and filled with the sound of praising God and the work of destroying evil spirits in the name of Yeshua takes place.

On November 12, the National Council of Churches in Korea (NCCK, Chairman Rev. Jang Jong-hyun) held the 'Korean Church Vision Conference Commemorating the 140th Anniversary of Korean Christianity' at Baekseok University in Cheonan. Approximately 300 people, including heads of major denominations and figures from the religious community, gathered to pray for the Korean Church Alliance and vision. The NCCK said that it prepared the event to commemorate the 140th anniversary of Korean Christianity, encourage the Korean Church to become new and united, and pledge recovery. In his speech, NCCK Chairman Jang Jong-hyun emphasized, "Korean Christianity is gradually losing its first love, and its cries for prayer are decreasing." "Now that we are celebrating the 140th anniversary of missionary work, we must rekindle the spark of the Holy Spirit of prayer and repent of our arrogance stained by division and secularization, and open a new era of spiritual revival." God the Father, thank you for loving Korea and blessing us so that the gospel could come 140 years ago. We genuinely thank you for allowing us to receive the gospel through missionaries and for allowing the gospel to go and have a significant impact on Korean society and bring about remarkable changes in every class and culture. You brought about substantial changes in numerous systems, human dignity, and values ​​that human effort cannot change, and you allowed us to play a significant role in shaping Korean society. You gave us the blessing of becoming a nation that does not stop at being those who have received the gospel but goes out into the world with it in obedience to the Word of God and lives as witnesses of the gospel. Although God has established us as a nation that enjoys such incredible blessings, the current Korean church is not making the gospel the gospel. Please have pity on us for failing to fulfill our role as disciples of Jesus, compromising with the world, and becoming a church steeped in the world, forgetting our mission as light and salt. “But you, man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses” (1 Timothy 6:11-12). Please pour out the power of the Holy Spirit so that the Korean church can once again become a church and saints who fight the good fight of faith, just as this verse says. You have made us live as priests like kings, so please let us live these last days as faithful witnesses with the faith of the cross and resurrection. Please let the Korean church fulfill its mission of leading Korean society while waiting for the Lord's return. We pray earnestly that our next generation will also be filled with the Holy Spirit to keep this faith to the end and firmly establish the kingdom of God.
