Prayer for the Restoration of Israel and Nations

Father God, we (I) pray for Israel.

Father God!

# Sirens sounded in Tel Aviv and surrounding areas on December 16, the 437th day of the war, as a missile fired by the Yemeni Houthi rebels was intercepted. The rocket itself did not enter Israeli territory, as it was intercepted by the IAF's 'Arrow' air defense system. However, alarms were raised due to concerns about falling debris during the intercept, which temporarily closed Ben Gurion Airport, which was then reopened. The debris fell on the roof of a building in the Arab neighborhood of Beit Hania in Jerusalem, but no injuries were reported. Since November, the Houthis have fired six ballistic missiles and five drones at Israel.

# On December 15, the Israeli military said the IDF's 98th Division had destroyed more than 300 Hezbollah facilities in large-scale operations over the past three months. Even after the ceasefire, they continued to target key areas such as Al-Qiam, a Hezbollah stronghold city from which thousands of rockets were fired into Israeli territory.

Father God, we thank You for protecting Israel in these difficult times of war and terrorism, and we declare that the battle belongs to You, Lord. We pray with the words of Psalm 59:

'Deliver me from my enemies, O God; be my fortress against those who are attacking me. Deliver me from evildoers and save me from those who are after my blood. See how they lie in wait for me! Fierce men conspire against me for no offense or sin of mine, Lord . I have done no wrong, yet they are ready to attack me. Arise to help me; look on my plight! You, Lord God Almighty, you who are the God of Israel, rouse yourself to punish all the nations; show no mercy to wicked traitors. They return at evening, snarling like dogs, and prowl about the city. See what they spew from their mouths— the words from their lips are sharp as swords, and they think, “Who can hear us?” But you laugh at them, Lord ; you scoff at all those nations. You are my strength, I watch for you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely. God will go before me and will let me gloat over those who slander me. But do not kill them, Lord our shield, or my people will forget. In your might uproot them and bring them down. For the sins of their mouths, for the words of their lips, let them be caught in their pride. For the curses and lies they utter, consume them in your wrath, consume them till they are no more. Then it will be known to the ends of the earth that God rules over Jacob. They return at evening, snarling like dogs, and prowl about the city. They wander about for food and howl if not satisfied. But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. You are my strength, I sing praise to you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely.'

Father God, during the ceasefire with Hezbollah, the Houthi rebels in Yemen continued to attack Israel with long-range missiles, rockets, and drones. However, thank you for blocking all attacks through the Israeli defense interception system. We thank you for allowing the Israeli military to continue to search for Hezbollah’s weapons depots, terror infrastructure, weapons warehouses in terror tunnels, and rocket launchers and weapons installed in private homes in villages near the demilitarized zone on the southern border of Lebanon. Please help Israel achieve its strategic ground war goals and, even after the 60-day ceasefire, lead Hezbollah to leave the Lebanese border altogether and open the border between Lebanon and Israel in a relationship of peace. Please help the UN resolutions be implemented, Lebanese politics normalize, allow for a complete restoration of relations between Israel and Lebanon, and help establish a border where true peace can be achieved. God the Father said, “On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said, ‘To your descendants, I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates.’” (Gen. 15:18). We pray that the lands from the Nile River in Egypt to the Euphrates River in the north will come into peace, as the Lord promised to Abram.

Father God!

On December 12, it was reported that Limor Son Harmelek and Zvi Sukkot, co-chairs of the lobby for settlement renewal, were touring the Gaza border to promote the resettlement of Jews in the Gaza Strip. On December 15, Likud lawmaker Avichai Boaron submitted a bill to the Knesset that would allow Israelis to live and move freely throughout Gaza. The bill states that "in the summer of 2005, the Israeli government decided to expel all Jewish residents of the Gaza Strip and the northern West Bank and to withdraw militarily from the area, and that the 'Jewish no-go zone' in Israeli law, which includes a ban on Israeli entry, should be removed and that "full freedom of presence and movement in the Gaza Strip should be permitted."

# On December 16, the Prime Minister's Office announced that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Adam Bueller, US President-elect Donald Trump's special envoy for hostage issues, on a private visit to Israel. President Biden said he hopes that the hostage negotiations will be concluded before Christmas, before the end of his term, and that the hostages will be returned.

# Last Wednesday night, a bus traveling from Judea and Samaria to Jerusalem was attacked at an intersection in the Palestinian village of Al Qader, killing a 10-year-old boy and injuring three others. 

Father God, please quickly find the 100 hostages currently in Gaza. Please open the way for them to return. Comfort and strengthen the parents and families of the hostages, and comfort the parents of the young soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect their country and their families, and the families who lost their husbands and fathers. Also, comfort the parents and families who lost their young sons to terrorism, remove those who continue to commit terrorism in Israel, and protect and defend the citizens from merciless terrorism. “Woe to the inhabitants of the coast, the Cherethites! The word of the LORD is against you, Canaan, land of the Philistines! I will destroy you without inhabitant. The coast will become pastureland, with shepherds’ tents and flock pens. The territory will be for the remnant of the house of Judah. ​​They will pasture their flocks there, and in the evening, they will lie in the houses of Ashkelon. For the LORD their God will visit them and turn their captivity.” (Zeph 2:5-7) A bill proposed by the Knesset for Israel: We pray that the lands that were once settlements will be restored and that the Jews will return to the places from which they were exiled. Please protect the Israeli soldiers on the battlefield in Gaza and help the wounded to heal quickly. Please have mercy on the Gazans who have fled their homes and are living in pain under the evil Hamas, and eliminate Hamas. Let the gospel of Yeshua’s salvation be proclaimed in Israel and Gaza, and let the Israelis and Arabs return to the Lord God and become the people who receive the salvation of Yeshua. “For you are holy, enthroned in the praises of Israel” (Psalm 22:3). We praise the holy God of Israel.

Father God!

On December 15, residents and rebels around the Syrian Golan and the buffer zone transferred hundreds of boxes of ammunition, mortars, bombs, and grenades from the previous regime to the IDF. They brought them to Israel, where IDF soldiers told them that there were several weapons containing chemical warfare agents in the N12, as well as boxes full of cheap grenades filled with chemicals, which should not be touched directly because they could irritate. The residents of this Golan border area want Israel to protect and defend their area. Israel entered the demilitarized zone on the border of the Golan Heights and Mount Hermon to defend against the threat of advances by various rebel groups rooted in the Islamic ideology of Al Qaeda. They said that they were destroying medium-sized strategic weapons throughout Syria, including Syrian surface-to-air missiles, air defense systems, surface-to-surface missiles, cruise missiles, long-range rockets, and coastal missiles, and that they had no intention of interfering in Syrian internal affairs, and that they were only protecting Israeli citizens on the Syrian border.

Father God, we thank you for the fall of the Assad regime in Syria, which was under Iran’s sphere of influence, as the Syrian rebels took over Syria. We also thank you for Israel’s attack on key Syrian military bases, expansion of the border at Mount Hermon, and the Syrian rebels’ activities, while the people and rebels on the Golan Heights and Mount Hermon border are sending Syrian weapons to the Israeli army. We thank you for the departure of Iran from Syria, which is supporting Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthi terrorist group in Yemen, Iraq, and Syria, while threatening to continue to attack Israel, saying that it will wipe Israel off the face of the earth. We also pray that you will work to cut off the relationship between Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas. As God promised Abraham, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” (Gen 12:3). As this word says, please break the power of Iran, which curses and attacks Israel, and make Israel a blessing, and let the nations that side with Israel receive God’s blessing because of Israel. “In that day, there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria; the Assyrians will go to Egypt, the Egyptians will go to Assyria, and the Egyptians will bow down with the Assyrians. On that day, Israel will be the third with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the middle of the earth, whom the LORD Almighty will bless, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel my inheritance.” (Isaiah 19:23-25) Please let this be the beginning of the door opening to fulfill the word.

Father God!

All the idols that defiled Israel and the temple of Jerusalem are destroyed in the name of Yeshua. All the evil deeds of the pagans in the Valley of the Hinnom and the foreign gods in the Valley of Kidron are confronted in the name of Yeshua and are consumed by the fire of the Holy Spirit. We declare that Jerusalem is covered with the blood of Yeshua and purified in the mighty name of Yeshua. The altar of Abraham on Mount Moriah will be restored. The altar of the burnt offering on the threshing floor of Araunah of David will be erected. The temple that Solomon established to proclaim peace will be established as a house of prayer for all peoples, and worship will be restored! Glory be to the holy Jehovah God alone. We declare that the complete restoration of Jerusalem will be accomplished in the name of the Messiah Yeshua, who will come again!

'May the peoples praise you, God; may all the peoples praise you. The land yields its harvest; God, our God, blesses us. May God bless us still, so that all the ends of the earth will fear him.'

Father God!

As the Syrian rebels seized control of the Syrian government, Israel and the United States bombed 90% of Iran's military bases in Syria, as well as its chemical weapons production bases and weapons depots. Iran's plans to surround Israel and attack Israel from Lebanon and Syria were destroyed. Accordingly, Russia, which had been supporting the Syrian government in Syria, withdrew all of its high-ranking officers and soldiers, as well as its heavy military equipment, aircraft, and naval vessels, from Syrian territory, ending Russia's 40-year-long relationship with Syria.

# Abu Mohammed al-Jolani, a Syrian rebel, is a rebel leader who was sent to Syria by Abu Bakir al-Baghdadi, the founder and leader of the Islamic State, to establish the Islamic State. He spoke of peace and unity and said that he would not attack Israel. Greg Roman, director of the Middle East Forum, said the U.S. must exercise caution when trusting the interim Syrian government and Abu Mohammed al-Jolani.

Father God, thank you for the departure of Iran, the Iranian forces that have been helping in the 13-year Syrian civil war, supplying weapons to Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis, and leading the attacks on Israel from Syria. Al-Jolani, the leader of the Syrian rebels who have taken over the Syrian government and are ending the Syrian civil war, has said that they will not attack Israel. Please have mercy on the Syrians who have suffered as a result of the long civil war, have become refugees, and have left Syria for neighboring countries and Europe, where they are still suffering. “The integrity of the upright guides them, but the perverseness of the wicked destroys them.” (Proverbs 11:3). According to this verse, please let the rebel leader Zolani become an upright national leader for the people, not the evil forces of the Islamic State (ISIS), and let him follow the justice that he establishes and implements policies for the people. Please help the Syrian people, who have been suffering hardships, establish the country with the leaders and the people and make it a stable government. In particular, please protect the safety of all churches and families in Syria, give courage to church leaders, and help the believers overcome the fear of war with faith.

# God the Father, “And he said to them, ‘Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.’” (Luke 21:10) “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See to it that you are not afraid; for all these things must happen, but the end is not yet.” (Matthew 24:6) Lord, you said that this is the beginning of disasters. We believe that the wars between Russia and Ukraine, Hamas, Hezbollah and Israel, the civil war in Sudan, and the ongoing situation in Syria are making us realize even more that this is the beginning of disasters in the last days. We pray that the reign of the Lord, the Prince of Peace, will come upon all nations. At this time of the beginning of disasters, please fill us with the Holy Spirit so that we may be awake, sober, long for the coming of God’s kingdom, and live a life of faith that prepares the way for the Lord to come.

A Hawaii court has ruled that the Christian Evangelism Fellowship’s Good News Club, a weekly after-school gathering of children ages 5 to 12 who study the Bible, memorize verses, sing hymns, play games, and evangelize, can operate in all school districts in Hawaii. The Liberty attorneys are suing a California school district that, after its success in Hawaii, was restricting the activities of the Christian club while welcoming all viewpoints except Christian clubs. A precedent for this was reached in 2001 in the U.S. Supreme Court case Good News Club v. Milford Central School, which was about whether Good News Clubs could meet on public school campuses. The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that the school violated the First Amendment by banning Good News Club participants from meeting after school.

Father, thank you for the Hawaii court’s ruling allowing Good News Clubs in all public schools. This order enables CEF’s Good News Club to use school facilities like any other group. We are grateful that this is a victory for all Christian groups in protecting the First Amendment’s right to freedom of speech. However, many school districts in the United States continue to restrict or disadvantage Christian groups based on the political preferences of their principals. Please work to have Christian groups form service teams in each school and allow them to use school buildings at the beginning of each new school year so that Bible-centered activities can continue in schools. “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not turn from it” (Prov. 22:6). As this verse says, please work to create an educational environment where our children can learn the Word from a young age in a biblical atmosphere through Christian groups in schools. Please guide the next generation to have a Bible-centered education and accomplish God’s work through our children.

Father God!

In early December, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the “Critical Communist Education Act,” a bill requiring education about communist influence in schools, by a vote of 327 to 62. The bill, introduced by Salazar Florida and 33 other lawmakers, seeks to close the gap in education about communist history. “Communism is one of the most destructive political ideologies in the world, and it is important to educate our youth about communism because we need to remember the crimes of communists that have harmed America and the world.” He said that this is to warn us that the ideology of “cultural Marxism” is being used to spread to our people through all media outlets, news, print, movies, and social media platforms in the United States, which is in direct conflict with the principles of freedom and democracy that were essential to the founding of the United States. He sent letters and warned nine major American media outlets that are cooperating with the Chinese Communist Party’s official newspaper, “China Daily,” and are receiving money to spread communist propaganda.

Father God, thank you for passing the “Critical Communist Education Act” in the U.S. House of Representatives to educate about communist influence and communist ideology properly. Thank you for revealing the fact that more than 100 million people have been killed worldwide by propagating communist ideology to American students and that 1.5 billion people are still suffering under communism. “All evil, all deception, Please let the media report the right and honest news according to the word of God, “Let us put away hypocrisy, envy, and all slander” (1 Peter 2:1). Many students of the next generation who are growing up do not know how many deaths the Chinese Communist Party has caused, and there are statistics that not only do they view communism favorably, but 20% of the next generation think that it is a better system than capitalism. Regarding this, please let the children learn and understand the significant difference between life under communism and life of freedom in America throughout history so that they can further protect liberal democracy and religious freedom. Please guide this generation, Holy Spirit, so that our next generation can discern the truth, realize and know the truth, the way, and the life, the Messiah Yeshua, the Son of God, and believe in and stand on the right path of truth. Please listen to our prayers for the next generation, and let biblical values ​​be established more in all areas of American politics, industry, and education. Let America become a nation of faith that pleases God.

Father God, I (we) pray for South Korea.

Father God!

Now is the time to pray. Amid turbulent times, the Korean church has led the restoration of this land through prayer. Amid the political turmoil caused by the president's impeachment and the social crisis, a movement to pray for the country is rising. There are growing voices calling for the Korean church to devote itself to prayer for the country once again and fulfill its prophetic role. When we look at the history of the Korean church, 'prayer' has been an essential driving force. On Friday, December 20, we proposed that all believers across the country freely fast and pray for a day. We asked believers who thought they should pray with their hearts to set a time that suits their circumstances and go to the church they serve and participate in prayer for 1 hour, 30 minutes, or 10 minutes as time permits.

Father God, thank you for allowing us to speak out in one voice that the Korean church must again fast and pray as we examine the nation's turmoil. Looking back, whenever Korea faced dark times and difficulties, God brought the Korean church together and led us to a place of prayer to discover God’s will and providence. In the history of the past, I remember the Pyongyang Revival Movement of 1907, which started as a personal spiritual awakening movement called Confession of Sin and continued with church unity, renewal, growth, overseas missions, and a union movement. It then moved on to education, medical work, and social enlightenment movements, creating a fantastic opportunity to lead the purification and change of individuals and society beyond the church. God still loves the Republic of Korea and is establishing this as a gospel powerhouse, allowing it to be used worldwide and spreading the gospel to the Israelites, God’s people. We pray it will become a country that fulfills the Father’s will. As we fast and pray, please grant us the power of the Holy Spirit to stand against the powerful forces of evil. Please do not let us see the series of events that are happening now as mere visible events. Stop taking sides, conflicting, and opposing each other. Let us stand only on God’s side, cry out, fast, and pray. Now, let the fire of the Holy Spirit descend upon the Korean church. “Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the thongs of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?” (Isaiah 58:6) When we hold on to this precious word and fast and pray together, all the dark forces that are trying to destroy this country and establish pro-North Korea and pro-China forces will collapse. They will completely disappear from the land of the Republic of Korea. The deeds of those who commit injustice and lawlessness will be revealed individually. Please let justice be realized in every class and every sphere, and grant us the grace to restore true liberal democracy and democratic constitutional order. We believe and thank that the Republic of Korea will be used to establish the kingdom of God in the last days, and we earnestly pray together.

Father God!

The giant opposition party, claiming to represent the people, impeached the president elected by the entire nation without holding a national hearing or forming a deliberation committee. President Yoon Seok-yeol, who served as the Prosecutor General, silently accepted the impeachment results to normalize the National Assembly, even though he knew that martial law was not subject to the judiciary's judgment. Now, as the final judgment, we are waiting for the Constitutional Court to make a judgment based solely on the laws stated in the Constitution. President Yoon Seok-yeol appealed to the people in his speech. This appeal was an earnest request that the country is not run by the president alone but that the people who elected him and are also sovereigns should step forward and actively participate.

Father God, we place the Republic of Korea in your hands. I pray that you grant politicians and members of the National Assembly the wisdom to overcome this crisis. In the president's absence, Prime Minister Han Duck-soo will act as prime minister. However, due to the impeachment of the opposition party's State Council members, the acting president is currently in a state where the high-ranking military leaders, the heads of the National Intelligence Service, and the Counterintelligence Corps have been impeached or suspended from their duties. If even one more State Council member resigns due to impeachment, all major government policies will be suspended. Our country is still in a state of war, although the Korean War that broke out in 1950 is a ceasefire. Rather than seeking unification with South Korea, the Kim Jong-un regime in North Korea emphasizes the desire to erase unification. It is still constantly sending spies, launching missiles, and sending sewage balloons to invade South Korea by force without ceasing its provocations. “Therefore, I urge, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people—for kings and all who are in authority—so that we may lead quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness and dignity.” (1 Timothy 2:1-2) We pray while holding onto this word.

Father God, please help our Republic of Korea. We earnestly pray that God will rule over the politicians and members of the National Assembly who only think about their ambitions for power and selfish interests, do not care about the people’s livelihood, and do not cooperate in establishing the country properly. If this continues, the government will become even greater chaos due to anarchy. Please open their eyes so that the Holy Spirit can correctly interpret this situation and see what is truly best for this country. In particular, please prevent fake public opinion from swaying the people's hearts and give the Constitutional Court judges the proper judgment so they can make fair judgments. We believe and give thanks that all these things will be normalized in God's time, and we earnestly pray together.

We pray for the Wednesday All Nations Prayer Meeting, held online every week. Thank you for blessing the Nations Prayer Meeting, which has been working diligently every week. Bless the ICC Church and the Virginia House of Prayer for the Nations (VHOP). Thank you for allowing us to make the recent 'Prayer Video' to pray for the fulfillment of the Bible and the video to convey "God's Time and Israel". Many videos that can be used as data to inform Israel are spread so people can discern the time of this era and pray with the Bible in their closets.
